Step#1:
Affix the paper template to the wall and drill three (3)
holeswithinthethree(3)markedcirclesonthepaper
template.
Werecommendaffixingthetemplateaboutfour(4)feet
(1.2m)abovetheground,assumingtheaverageheight
ofyourusersis56feettall(1.5m1.85m).
Note:Duringenrollmentandverification,trytohavearelaxedunstrained
facialexpressionandstandupright.
5.EnrollmentandVerification
Recommended:
When enrolling users and then subsequently
verifying those users, its important those users
consistentlystand(orsit)atthesamedistanceand
anglefromtheiFace.

Step#2:
Nowaffixthemountingplateonthewallbydrillingthree(3)screwsintothe three(3)

8.AdjustingExposure(contrast)ofcapturedFaceimages
TheiFacewillautomaticallyadjusttheimagecontrastaccordingtotheenvironment. If
Tooclose Toofar thecapturedfaceimageispoor,youcanadjusttheExposuresetting.
Press MENU on the iFace window display > SYSTEM > FACE > EXPOSURE.
Defaultsettingis300.
WhenthecapturedimageistooBRIGHT,thenLOWERtheexposuresetting.Whenthe
capturedimageistooDARK,thenINCREASEtheexposuresetting.

6.EnrollmentFacialExpression
During the enrollment, position your
headsuchthatyourfaceappearsinthe
centeroftheiFacedisplaywindow.The

ShortcutkeyscanbeusedforGroup#selection. PressMenu>Keyboard,thenpress
shortcutkeys[F1][F5]andsetthemasFaceGroup#1toFaceGroup#5.
7.EnrollmentandVerificationmethod
The iFace has four (4) methods of enrollment: Face/Fingerprint/Password/ID card 10.ScreenCalibration
(optional).
