2. The dimensions indicated above are suggested dimensions only. The Manufacturer shall check and

dimensions shall be approved by Company.
3. Orientation of all the nozzles are indicative and shall be confirmed by Company during
manufacturers drawing approval stage.
4. Indicated wall thicknesses for body & neck are minimum. Manufacturer shall check the same based
on pipeline design conditions and manufacturing requirements, and submit necessary calculations to
Company for approval.

5. Flanges welded on Scraper trap shall have smooth face finish to 125 AARH.
6. Scraper trap shall be provided with suitable handling system for retraction, insertion & launching of
pigs including instrumented pigs (such as basket / tray; retracting rod/ mechanism etc.) from the trap
as per drawing no. 6921-000-16-71-9420 and clause 4.11 of specification no. 6-71-0031. Price of
scraper trap shall be inclusive of pig handling system, however pig lifting devices (davit etc.) are not
in vendors scope of supply.
7. All carbon steel fittings/flanges made from ASTM A105 material shall be heat treated by normalising
in accordance with ASTM A961. All carbon steel fittings and flanges made from ASTM A105
material shall be finish forged i.e. forged to the required shape. Machined fittings and flanges are not
acceptable. Machining is permitted for weld end preparation and flange face finish preparation.
8. Price quoted for scraper trap shall be inclusive of supply, mounting and testing of pig signaler
(without isolation valve type).
9. Scraper trap shall be supplied inclusive of mounting and testing of pig signaller (without isolation
valve type).
10. All Weldolets shall be as per MSS-SP-97 & all Nippolets shall be as per Manufacturers Standard.
11. Dimensions for flanges shall be as per ASME B 16.5.
12. These dimensions shall be decided by Manufacturer and approved by Company.
13. Design pressure for Scraper trap shall be considered as 92 Kg/cm2 g.
14. Quick opening end closure shall be designed as per ASME SEC VIII DIV. I. The selected wall
thickness of end closure hub shall be taken as per ASME B 31.8 & ASME SEC. VIII DIV. I,
whichever is higher. The QOEC shall be designed for 600# class rating.

1.3 Prices quoted against items 01.00 above shall be inclusive of prices of recommended
spares and accessories required during start up and commissioning and the list of
such spares shall be furnished as per Form-L. Bidder to note that as per Addendum
no. 6921-000-16-71-AD-03, as a minimum the commissioning spares for QOEC shall
include 200% extra consumables spares viz. Gaskets/ O- rings etc.
1.4 Bidders must submit dully filled up and signed data sheets, compliance statement,
check list and forms (Form-B, Form-L and Form-S) along with his offer.
1.5 For Pig Signallers (Item no. 01.03 & 01.04), price for one no. of tools/ accessories for
retraction of Pig Signallers during repair/ maintenance must be quoted under Form-S,
"List of spares and accessories for two (2) years of normal operation".
1.6 Bidder shall furnish names of proposed suppliers for QOEC & Pig signallers.
1.7 GA & Assembly drawings/ Cross section drawings including part list with material for
quoted items from proposed manufacturer/ supplier shall be submitted with the offer.
1.8 Bidder shall furnish all documentation as per requirement of BEC (Bidder evaluation
criteria) such as un priced copy of Purchase Orders, Inspection Release Notes and
End user approved drawings.

The following shall be added at the end of clause:
