So he climbs the topmost steeple as he thinks that God lives in the sky. But God

Ans: Akhund is a Sindhi word which means teacher. It comes from a Persian word

Read. Hence a teacher is a reader par excellence. He has the ability of reading Gods
words written on the human heart or the Holy Book or in nature.

Ans: Fish is important for us because of being an important source of our food. Millions of
people are engaged in catching fish, so it is also an occupation and a flourishing trade.

Ans: Mr. Ahmads students were very excited about their picnic. The headmaster had allowed
them a days outing and they were to go by the school bus. Mr. Ahmad had arranged the
visit with Mr. Hassan, the manager of the Model Agricultural Farm.

Ans: The boys were surprised with hugeness of the Model Agricultural Farm because they
had no idea that an agricultural farm could be so large and interesting.

Ans: When the boys reached the farm as it was the wheat harvesting season they saw a huge
machine called Combine working in the vast wheat field. It cut the crops and tied it
into sheaves. With one sweep, it seemed to eat up a large area of the golden crop which
came out tied into a bundle at the other end.

Ans: A Thresher separates the grain from the chaff. From one end of it fell a golden rain of
sweet-smelling wheat, while chaff flew out at the other.

Ans: The whole process of ploughing, seeding, harvesting and threshing the corn is done
with machines on the model farm. One man with machine can do as much work as one
hundred men working without it.

insecticide is also sprayed on the crops.
