Walton has a goal to double overall market share in the next 5 years. It has successfully positioned itself as a
customer friendly and eco-friendly Company. Its after sales service has contributed tremendously in building this
image in customers minds.

Since its target market is middle-income people, the price of their products is comparatively lower than those of
competitors. This strategy helps the company greatly in a price sensitive consumers market. In recent years Walton
has increased promotional activities through organizing various national sports events.

Further investigations have revealed that to achieve the role of market leader, it will face challenge from foreign
brands. Moreover, rapidly growing demand from customers for electronic products may put pressure on Walton. It
has adopted market penetration, product development and market development strategy for future growth.

The report has found the prospects of Walton promising in its current position. Favorable government policy will
help it expand domestic and international markets in the future

Introduction
Walton HIL (Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd.) is the pioneer of Refrigerator, Freezer, and Motorcycle manufacturing
technology in Bangladesh. It is also the manufacturer of Energy Saving Lamp. R. B. Group (Mother Company) is
the country's top business Group in electrical and electronics, Motorcycle, Electricity generating equipments and
other household electrical & electronics goods using the brand name WALTON with some other sectors like
Textiles, Dairy etc. The company has been running its business with a great reputation since 1977. Establishment of
Walton HIL to manufacture Refrigerator & Freezer, Energy Saving Lamp and Motorcycle etc. In the country is a
milestone in the path of success and reputation of the brand WALTON.
Walton HIL has introduced first advanced research and manufacture technologies and equipments for customized
commercial and household Refrigerator & Freezer, Motorcycle and Energy Saving Lamp etc. In Bangladesh. The
company desires to provide the latest technology based products with innovative design, excellent quality and many
different models & capacities. In this concern, management of Walton HIL ensures their commitments for quality at
any cost.
WALTON brand main products are different types of Television (CRT, LCD, Plasma etc. ) , HD DVD & DVD
Player, Motorcycle, Refrigerator & Freezer, Microwave Oven, Steam Oven, Domestic and Industrial Generator,
Washing Machine, Wrist-Watch, Manganese & Alkaline Battery, Energy Saving Lamp, Power Tiller, Air-conditioner
and various types of necessary and useful home appliances.
Walton HIL is furnished with strong Research & Development (R& D) Division comprising of a team of dedicated
skilled engineers & technical personnel. It is fully equipped industrial set-up with annual production target of 0. 6
million Refrigerators, 0. 108 million Motorcycles & 6 million Energy Saving Lamp. The Industry has its own Mold
& Die making section where high precision molds are produced with the help of state-of the art CNC, Wire-Cut,
EDM etc. Machines. The company has three Poly Urethane Foaming Plants, three Thermoforming (Vacuum
forming) Units, highly equipped Metal Forming Units with Powder Coating, Nickel-Chrome Plant & Die-Casting
Section, Robot operated Injection Plastic Molding Plant, highly equipped Test Lab, Printing & Packaging Section
etc.
Walton HIL always emphasizes on supreme priority in achieving customer satisfaction. The company always
ensures product quality and renders the innovative latest technologies in its products. It has a complete experienced
professional engineering team combined with both home and abroad to serve the valued customers.

Origin of the Report:

I prepared this report on basis of customer satisfaction of Walton refrigerator. I done this report for the course
requirement of BRM 330.our course instructor Risul awal mahmood have assigned this report. I collected
information by making a questionnaire then survey with 40 customers who use the Walton refrigerator.

Objective of the report:

A. Broad objective:

The broad objective of this report is Customer satisfaction of Walton refrigerator.

B. Specific objective:

To find out organization lacks

To find out the customer service satisfaction level.

To find out the position of Walton refrigerator in Bangladesh.

To find out customer needs from organization

To find out about the strategy change according to situation.

To find out the organizations opportunity for the users.

To find out the different problems and solutions.

To identify the needs and preferences of customer about Walton Electronics.

To know the consumers view point about the quality of Walton Electronics.

To know how much consumers are price sensitive about Walton Electronics.

To know how much company image improve in terms of Walton Electronics distribution.

To know the attractiveness Walton Electronics advertisements.

Scope of the report:


I have got the scope to prepare this kind of report for our course instructor. I did this report on the customer
opinion of Walton Refrigerator So this report is only based on survey at Walton Showroom, branch in jatrabari at
Al-amin road.

Methodology:
The methodologies used in the research process for this report, were:

Data Collection:

Primary data is the information that I collect first-hand and secondary data is the information collected by others.
For data collection, i used three approaches:

a. First, I conducted some field research. I went to some Walton retail outlets and asked the customers about
their valuable suggestion and opinions.

b. We searched about Walton on the Internet and found some important information regarding their
company background, product lines and promotional programs.

c. I went to Walton head office and collected the annual reports for Walton Bangladesh for the year 2010.

Surveys:
For surveys, I made a questionnaire for the buyers. The questionnaire for the buyers included questions about their
economic background, their preferences and their buying budget and frequency. To circulate the questionnaires, I
followed two approaches:

a. I handed the questionnaires personally to people. I went to the retail outlets and gave the questionnaire to
the people there and collected their answers. Then i chose some random prospective buyers and handed
them the questionnaire prepared for them. The random sampling included people from my residential areas.

b. For the prospective customers, I used an online survey. I circulated the questionnaire in different types of
people and collected the answers.

Limitation:

Here, I face some limitation to prepare this report. Those are noted below-

o Lack of knowledge and experience.

o Short of time.

o When we went to collect information from the Walton outlets, they were not fully able to
cooperate with us, as our required information was confidential.

o There was not enough data in the websites.

o Lack of sufficient privileges.

o Lack of communication facilities.

o Unwillingness to answer the survey question.

Ending Part
Findings

Most of the occupation of this report is businessman.

Walton refrigerator are popular for customer.

Most of the responds says that Walton refrigerator product are better than other product.

Most of the responds are used Walton product.

The quality of Walton refrigerator is very good

About maximum of the persons pointed to make recommendations of Walton
refrigerator.

When Walton gives any offer, customer is happy.

Customers satisfy their own Walton refrigerator.

Recommendation
After completed survey and analysis, I suggested that could follow for gaining customers satisfaction and
keep close with organization.

They could increase their sells various area in Bangladesh.

They could provide high quality product all over the country.

They could increase customer service care facility.

Customer Loyalty Program.

Yearlong incentives and special offers

They could give more reliable free offer.

They could decreases sells rate to keep customers

Conclusion
The company has been running its business with good reputation since 1977.Establishment of Walton HIL to
manufacture Refrigerator & Freezer, Air Conditioner, and Motorcycle etc. in Bangladesh is a milestone in the
path of success and reputation of the brand WALTON. Walton HIL is the first company to introduce
advanced research and manufacturing technologies and equipment for household & commercial Refrigerator
& Freezer, Motorcycle and Air Conditioner etc. in Bangladesh. For Bangladesh, Walton has become a
company to be proud of in the export arena. Walton has truly redefined Bangladesh from being a consumer
country to a producer country for home appliances.
