IMC 2015

7th Indian Mineral Congress and Exhibition 2015, (IMC 2015) was organized at Indian
School of Mines, Dhanbad on 7th February 2015 by ISM Alumni Association with a primary aim
to focus on issues related to highlight emerging research and practice at the dynamic intersection
of innovation, technology, and knowledge management, where individuals, organizations,
corporate sectors, industries, R&D organizations and Academic Institutions are harnessing
creativity and invention to achieve and sustain growth. The congress was useful to learn and
recognize the need of more sustainable innovation and related economics for the members of
petrotech who actively attended IMC and thus will aware other students in near future through
course of its events. An exhibition for displaying state-of-art information (physical display) on
Technology and Innovation Management, pamphlets, literature etc. was organized concurrently
at ISM along with the collaboration of PETROTECH ISM STUDENT CHAPTER. Exhibition
was the finest opportunity to highlight the prospects of PETROTECH ISM STUDENT
CHAPTER on a larger arena through esteemed alumni of ISM who play very significant role in
various reputed sectors of the industry for which a PETROTECH stall was positioned at the
venue. Through this the chapter was acutely described to alumni who visited the stall and
Newsletter of petrotech ISM student chapter was distributed to the guests in order to forecast
various events organized by the team for the development of students along with the national
glories achieved at different stage of its working. Survey was taken by the visitors on our chapter
and required suggestions for better working and development was enhanced which will be
incorporated in our future work plans and management.
