We are ordering lilies for $17.50 to be put in
front of the church on Easter Sunday morning,
April 16th. You may take your lily (lilies) home
with you after the morning service. You can put
this form with a check for $17.50 in the offering
plate or bring your order by the church office.
We will put the list of in memory or in honor of in the order
of worship on Easter Sunday morning. The last day to place
your order is March 21st. It will be a lovely sight to see the
beautiful lilies on Easter morning. Thank you!

Sunday, February 19
There will be a combined service at 11 am on Sunday, February
19. There will be no Children's Worship since this service will be
a time of testimony from all the DNow participants. How
wonderful for our kids to see and hear from teenagers whose
lives are reflecting Jesus!
VBS Donations
It's that time of year again! Time to get ready for one of the
largest events in our kids ministry and one of the biggest
evangelistic pushes in our church life. Will you consider taking a
star from the Fellowship Hall and purchasing an item to be used
in decorating or in crafts? Stars will contain one item and will be
added over the next two months. This year, we need fewer items
for decorating, but they are a bit more expensive than previous
years. It may be best for a Sunday School class, Bible Study
group or fun group of friends to join together to purchase the
item. THANK YOU for your generosity!
VBS Think Tank! Sunday, February 25 4 pm Fellowship Hall
I know what you are thinking... we have plenty of time until the
summer! But ideas take a while to grow and we want the best
VBS yet! Bring your thoughts, ideas and suggestions to this
open discussion on what works, what doesn't and what we can try
for the next year. Parents, volunteers, former VBS participants-
all are welcome!

As you read these words, we are getting ready for
Disciple Now Weekend 2017. This year promises to
be one of the best and is shaping up to be a weekend
that could change the trajectory of life for so many
students in Decatur County. Think about the
possibilities that could come from close to 500
students gathering together for a weekend to worship
the One, True, Living God and to be challenged and
changed for the glory of God. This weekend has so
much potential for our county, our city, our schools,
and for our church. All the youth leaders are praying
for a God-sized movement through this weekend.
Will you join with us in praying that prayer?
This weekend is not possible without so much help
from our volunteer leadership. So thanks in advance
to everyone who is taking part in this weekend!!
