have not had to travel more
than several miles from shore
to encounter striped marlin
or tuna, though where the
best location was varied from
day to day. The yellowfin tuna
have more often been found
traveling with porpoise, rang-

pounds. There were reports
of yellowfin to 100 pounds or

them to strike. Overall,
catches for tuna have been
limited…it’s a matter of lo-

Bottom action was spotty

found near Iman and San Luis
while using yo-yo jigs or
trolling Rapalas.
Inshore there have been
good numbers of roosterfish,

USD $20.000 because the
termination of the working
contract did not achieve
Mexican requirements.
It was not clear to us
how important it is to have
an independent lawyer cre-
ate the working contract. So
far we have already spent $
3,000 on lawyers here, but
without success.
Therefore I would like to
start a self-help group and
would ask you very much to
publish this in your newspa-
per. The goal of the self-help
group would be to record
incidents, past and current,
to negotiate and discuss with
the responsible people in
politics and justice and to
create a good information
source for foreign investors
and employers.
There should also be
rights for foreigners here, not
only obligations!

I read your column in the

sorry to read you’ve been

of being racist, and worse;
that makes no sense at all.
You simply shine a light on
defective practices, and help
us all understand better.
For what little comfort it may
bring, I doubt that there are
many cross-over readers
who read both papers. With
luck, your faithful Gringo

support you, and the scant

will be a non-issue.
Your paper provides a rare
