-express their likes and dislikes.

OBJECTIVES:

A.Cognitive objectives:

a) to check and improve vocabulary;

b) to encourage students to talk freely;
c) to give students more practice on pronunciation, vocabulary and the
structures previously taught.
B.Affective objectives:

a) making students confident in their ability to use the language;

b) creating interest in the topic of the lesson;
c) creating a relaxed atmosphere, proper for studying;
d) foster learner independence and cooperative learning;
e) stimulating students imagination and creativity;
f) having fun.

WARM UP: Teacher greets Ss and asks them several questions about the last homework.

T creates an English language atmosphere, establishing contact between her and

SS, and helps SS to feel relax.

LEAD IN: Teacher presents Ss a picture and asks seveveral questions.Ss answer the questions.

T announces and explains them the subject of the lesson.

ACTIVITY 1: Teacher asks students to read and translate the text from their textbook.

TIME: 10min

ACTIVITY 2: T gives worksheets with two short texts with missing words and explains them

what to do. T guides them , translates the unknown words then checks their

answers with the whole class.

T shows Ss some flashcards with different pictures. One student has to stand up

and express his preference according to the images.
