Stabilities FLEXOFIX FL. to the usual concentrations of hard water, metal salts
and acids.
The above given values are product describing data. Please consult the 'delivery specification' for binding product
specifications. Further data about product properties, toxicological, ecological data as well as data relevant to safety can be
found in the safety data sheet.
Properties
FLEXOFIX FL. is normally applied in the padding procedure. The product is compatible with the usual synthetic
resins and catalysts.
Softening and lubricating agents counteract the non-slip effect. For this reason their application should be
reduced to a minimum.
The product may be applied on all materials which have an insufficient non-slip property and seam stability but
particularly on linings made of viscose and synthetic fibres.
Application Technique
Diluting Instruction
FLEXOFIX FL. is added directly to the baths and is dispersed evenly by stirring.
When working dry-on-wet the application amounts of the product on the padding machine are generally in the
range of
5 - 30 g/l FLEXOFIX FL.
The product may also be applied in the exhaust procedure where we recommend the following standard recipe:
1 3 % FLEXOFIX FL.
pH 5.5
Liquor ratio: 1:5 1:10
Temperature: 40 60 C
Time: 20 min
On PES and PES/CEL FLEXOFIX FL. can decrease the rubbing fastness to a certain extent, especially at
excessive drying temperatures. We therefore recommend the corresponding pre-trials.
