1. Tabulate the results for part A, part B and part C.

2. Plot the IV and PV curve in the same graph for part A and part B.
3. Mark the maximum power point in both graphs and note down the current and the
voltage corresponds to maximum power point.
4. Compare the above two plots and discuss about the shading effect.
5. Plot the short circuit current vs open circuit voltage for part C.
6. What is the maximum output power position (Give both horizontal and vertical
positions).
7. What are the factors that affect output power?
8. What are the different tracking methods for solar panels? Discuss each method.
9. Discuss the approximations you have done in plotting the I-V curve, what method can
you propose to get a fairly accurate IV curve under non standard testing conditions.
10. Compare the results obtained in the field with the theoretical curves attached for the panel
and discuss the variations giving possible reasons.
