What part of any of these verses do I have anything to do with my salvation?
What do I have to do to become closer to God?
Salvation is not about doing something that you already are. It is about
agreeing with God and thanking Him for His free gift of Salvation!!

The Mystery of the Union with God
Why doesnt God just give us a simple instruction manual to tell us all the things we need to know to live
this life. 2 page document explaining who God is, who Jesus is, and what I need to do. Instead we have
66 books and thousands of pages, millions of words. Why?

Its not about knowledge, its about a relationship.

God did make it easy for us, and He narrowed His will down to 1 word and 1 name
