Surfacepreparation
Allthesurfacesmustbecleanedandmadefreeof
dust, dirt, moss, oil, grease and other loose
particles.thiscanbeachievedbygrit/sand/shot
blasting.Asaminimum,vigorouswirebrushing
should be employed. All pin holes and surface
defectsshallberepairedwithasuitable polyCREtE*
concreterepairmortar.
priming
polytHANE p does not require priming and can
directlybeappliedontotheconcretesurface.in
caseofhighlyporoussurface,aprimingcoatis
recommendedtosealtheporesandstabilizethe
surface.theprimercoatcanbeproducedonsite
primercoat@5m/landallowtodry.
Mixing
polytHANE p isasinglecomponentproductbutmix
the contents of the pail thoroughly prior to
applicationtoremoveanysediment.Aslowspeed
drillandsuitablepaddlemixershallbeusedto
avoidtheformationofairbubbles.
Application
thecoatingcanbeappliedwithabrush,rolleror
2 coats. the 1st coat shall be allowed to dry
completelybeforethe2ndcoatisapplied.the
2ndcoatshallbeappliedcrosswisetothefirst
coat.
the coating will achieve its full strength after a
curingperiodof7days.
CornerDetailing
itisrecommendedtoreinforcedallcornerswith
Cl252 sealing strip. the sealing strip shall be
embeddedintothefirstcoatwhilstitisstillwetand
coveredfullywiththesecondcoat.

cleaning & disposal
Cleanallthetoolswithwaterafteruse.Hardened
materials can be removed mechanically only.
Allow the waste to cure. Seal it into a suitable
containerandburyinlandfill.uselicensedwaste

authoritieswhendisposing.
storage & shelF liFe
Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and
protect from extreme temperatures. in tropical
climate the product must be stored in air -
conditionedenvironment(<25C).
