Plasterboard
This system applies to 'I' section columns that are free
as required
standing. An air space is incorporated between the fire-
rated plasterboard and the structural member. The
installation of a Boral Encasement Channel, for which a 50mm max
patent application is current, is utilised in this system. to end

Application
This system applies to 'I' or box section steel columns that
are free standing. The fire-rated plasterboard is fixed
directly to the structural member. It is dependant upon the
column's exposed surface area/mass ratio (ESA/M).

1 layer of 25mm Boral Shaft Liner plus 1 layer of 10mm

Application
This system applies to freestanding concrete columns of
square or rectangular section. Enhances existing FRL of
column by up to 2 hours.
