Distance=Speed*time

Average Speed=Total Distance/Total time

Relative Speed,S : Two bodies moving at the speed of S1 and S2 respectively,


In same direction: S= S1-S2;
Opposite Direction: S=S1+S2

1.To qualify for a race, you need to average 30 mph driving two laps around a 1-mile long track. You
have some sort of engine difficulty the first lap so that you only average 60 mph during that lap; how
fast do you have to drive the second lap to average 60 for both of them?

If A takes 5days to do a piece of work, then in one day he will do 1/5 of the work.
Assumption 1: equal amount of work done everyday
Assumption 2: Unit amount of work is done

Problem Solving:
1.Running at the same rate, 8 identical machines can produce 560 paperclips a minute. At this rate, how
many paperclips could 20 machines produce in 6 minutes?
