The American government should make abortion more strict

An abortion is very common in the United states, about 3 out of 10 women have

in abortion by the time they are 45.The american government should allow an abortion

be legal but only for certain reasons. Hundreds of thousands of people In the United

States get an abortion. The main cause to get an abortion is because of birth control

failure. Over half of all women who have an abortion used a contraceptive method

during the month they became pregnant (Web Md) This is just one of many reasons

women should be allowed to get an abortion. Around 32,00 women a year get pregnant

from rape. Women who get raped and dont want the child should be the main reason

why Abortion should be legal in the United states. Lastly if the woman is endangered by

the pregnancy than the abortion should be legal. The American government should

rethink their abortion policy to only allow these three reasons for a women to have an

abortion.

For those who dont know and abortion is the removal of an embryo or fetus from

the uterus in order to end a pregnancy. Abortions were done for hundreds of years but

the american government did legalized abortion until 1973. Abortions were legalized

because of the supreme court case Roe V. Wade. Roe thought that her life was in

danger and she would think that getting an abortion would save her. The American

should agree with Roe and should believe that getting an abortion to save your life

should be allowed.

The American government should propose new laws to only allow women to get

an abortion if they fall into one of my categories.First the people need to bring it to local
people and see if my idea is good and try to get it changed in the local county. After it

gets changed in the local county than we would try to get it changed in my state. After

that we would try to get a well known representative on my side and see if they could

bring a lot of attention to changing the law. Now that I have a representative on my side

I would try to get a legislator to bring it to the legislative branch for them to debate on it.

Lastly after the legislative branch passed the bill than they would send it to the

executive branch and if i had enough people on my side than the executive branch

would take large consideration on passing the bill. Changing the abortion law would

take a years and I would need to work very hard to get the abortion law to how I like it.

The first reason why the United states should change the law of abortion is

because many people take advantage of the program. First of all people are having

baby when they know that they cant afford the baby. The American Government needs

to realize this because many people who get an abortion dont pay for it at because the

state that they live in will help you out or a private insurance will cover it. Most states

prohibit the use of state funds to pay for abortions, except in a few circumstances - such

as when federal funds are available One state (South Dakota) limits funding for

abortion except when a mothers life is in Danger (Abortion Laws,2017). The United

states should relook how abortions are paid for because the money could go to better

things like helping out our vets. Instead the money goes to helping a mother who could

not afford the baby in the first place. The mother should've realized this and never had

the baby in the first place because now she is taking money from the government that

could of went to helping someone who really needs it. Many people take advantage of

getting an abortion and now they let people to get away with a killing.
 The next reason why the United States government should change the law is

because the United States is allowing people to get away with killing a person. The

Unites states government pushes laws to the side when an abortion is happening.

Unborn babies are protected from murder and violence by the federal act Unborn

victims of violence. The act considers an unborn baby to be a human being and

imposes penalties on those who inflict harm on a fetus otherwise than through an

abortion (Anderson,2015). The quote shows people that the the United States

government to allow murder to happen. Just because someone does not want a baby

should not be a reason for them to be allowed to take their life. This law should protect

an unborn baby even if the parents want to get an abortion. Even if the law cannot

protect the unborn baby than the parents should have to pay fines for allowing the baby

to be killed. Lastly the United States government should look into why the parents are

getting an abortion and see if they really need one or not. If the parents get caught lying

than there should be prison time and hefty fines to them.

The last reason why the United States government should change the abortion

laws is because is can put a woman's life in danger. Many times when women who are

getting the abortion it can cause depression which may also endanger the woman's life.

Women who have had an abortion are also at greater risk of suicide in the years

following the event (Anderson,2015). Not only taking one person's life it can also harm

the baby's family too. If a woman commits suicide than it not only puts a lot of stress on

the father but also his family. The father might have other kids that would have to go

through this to. An abortion can harm the whole family just because the parents did

want a baby. Abortions are also shown to increase the risk of breast cancer. These
risks are typically not discussed with the woman who attend abortion clinic where they

are assured that the procedure is safe (Andersen, 2015). Many women are never told

that breast cancer is increased because of an abortion. Women are not just putting their

life in danger, they are also risking being in debt. Getting treatment for breast cancer is

a lot money that the mother might not have. If the mother could wait a couple of months

and give birth to the baby than she has the option to put the baby up for adoption. If the

baby was put up for adoption than a mother who just suffered from a miscarriage could

adopt a newborn because she would do anything to have a baby. Many people dont

think an abortion is always good and will always help the mother. But in the long run if

people take the time to do research than they might think abortion is not always the way

to go.

The American government should rethink the laws on abortion and change them.

First many women take advantage of the program just because they dont want a baby.

The next reason is the American government is allowing people to kill their babies

without any consequences. Lastly getting an abortion can harm the women in the long

run and affect her whole family's life. The new policy will allow women to still get

abortions if they fall into a category. First is a women is rapped than an abortion should

be legal. Next if the woman is endangered than she should save her life before the

unborn baby. Lastly if the women is taking a contraceptive method during the month

they became pregnant than an abortion should be allowed. The new law will not make

abortion illegal but change it so people can't kill a innocent baby. Abortions are very

common in the United states and about 3 out of 10 women have an abortion. The new
laws will make abortions less common so people who actually need them are capable of

getting one.
