drive to a point and project a laser dot

How does it work?

1. Enable Autolocation

2. Select a Point to stake

3. Select the desired option

4. Aim laser at the floor, wall or ceiling

5. Instrument takes multiple shots, computes where

the point will fall, and points with the laser

Applying Point on Floor:

Finds X,Y locations easily on a floor

Mark out bolts or wall locations on a bare floor

If materials obstruct access to the floor you can

still see where the point should be and move the
materials

Applying Point on Ceiling:

Mark difficult to access pipe hanger locations.

If vision from total station is obstructed, switch

to Point on Floor and mark a point below.

Applying Point on Wall or Pipe through Wall:

Point on wall projects an X,Y,Z coordinate the

shortest distance to a wall.
Ideal for cutting out electrical outlets from
mounted drywall.

Pipe through wall projects a vector to a point on

a vertical plane.
Ideal for accessing unseen pipes or conduits
that are behind a wall.
