was no firearm found near her body. Evidence at the scene consisted of blood and two Smm cartridge
cases. Homicide Sergeant Lousignont obtained a telephonic search warrant for the residence, which was
authorized by District Court Judge Douglas Smith
Detectives Cody and Merrick contacted Harry and conducted an interview. In summary, Harry said he
was hanging out with Haley when he left the residence on his motorcycle around 0100 hours to buy a
beer and meet a friend named Safire. When he returned he found Haley in the kitchen in a pool of blood.
Harry called 9-1-1 and started CPR. Harry said the cartridge cases in his backyard were fired by a former
roommate on New Year's Eve. The gun used by the former roommate belonged to Harry, which he stored
in a Pepsi machine in the living room. Harry's handgun was a Taurus 9mm semi-automatic handgun,
serial number TNC57579. Harry last saw his weapon in the Pepsi machine before he left to the

firearm was missing. Detectives Cody and Merrick went to the convenience store and recovered video
surveillance of the beer purchase.
Detectives Cody and Merrick then located and interviewed Safire Wallace. In summary, Wallace told the
detectives she knew Harry but there were no plans to meet that night, Wallace further stated she had
received no text messages or voice calls from Harry that night. Detectives Cody and Merrick re-contacted
Harry and confronted him about Wallace's statement. Harry remained steadfast and said he was not
involved in the murder and did not know who killed Haley. Harry said he normally open carries his firearm
‘except when his roommate is home so she has access to the weapon. Harry stated he would submit to
‘a polygraph and provided detectives consent to search his cell phone.
On January 26" your affiant and Detective Cook attended Haley's autopsy. Haley was shot in the head,
at close range, and in the neck. Haley's cause of death was gunshot wounds of the head and neck, and
her manner of death was ruled homicide. Following autopsy, your affiant contacted and interviewed
Danielle Edwards, who was Haley's cousin. In summary, Edwards said she was with her friend “Mona”
when Mona received a phone call from “Dewayne.” Mona put the call on speakerphone so Edwards could
hear what Dwayne said. Dwayne said he had just had a conversation with a black male by the moniker
of "N.0." N.O. told Dewayne that he shot Haley because she was taunting him about her about another
relationship she was having with male, who went by the moniker of "Snoop." N.O. then shot Haley in her
face, then struck her in the head. The shooting occurred in the kitchen of the Haley's roommate's (Mark
Harry) residence.
On the same day, Detective Jaeger contacted and interview Dejuan Fuller. In summary, Fuller told
Detective Jaeger that after detectives left Harry's residence, he came over to Harry's residence at the
same time Snoop's stopped by. Fuller listened in on a conversation between Harry and Snoop about
what happened. Harry said he was hanging out with Haley, the shooter, “Juice,” and a male and female
couple known to Haley. Juice gestured to Harry, which caused Harry to exit the residence. Harry exited
the home and heard gunshots.
Moments later the shooter exited the residence and ran past Harry. Harry entered the home, saw Haley
and helped the couple leave. Harry believed Juice and the shooter came to his house with the intent to
kill Haley. Harry said Haley was killed because she set someone else to get robbed, Fuller claimed he
left Harry's apartment and contacted Harry him in the neighborhood later that day. Harry was jittery and
told Fuller if the police could get him into protective custody he would identify the shooter and where the
shooter lived

After contacting Fuller, Detective Jaeger attempted to contact Harry at his place of employment. Detective
Jaeger contacted Harry's boss, Roseanna Sisneros. Sisneros said Harry never showed up for work and
provided Detective Jaeger a Facebook post from Harry. The post read, ‘If something happens to me,
remember the name N.O. (Lun Simon). He killed my roommate, single shot to the head. He was the only
one with her when | left, he knows we're (SIC) | keep my gun. But if he even hears about one police car
on his block he will kill me. I have no way of leaving my house or calling anyone. Megan please help me,
call Rosanne to pick me up. I'm the only one that knows he killed her, he has my only gun, I'm going to
try to sneak out the house tonight. | just pray the mother fucker don't see me. If he kills me tonight
remember me.”
Your affiant and Detective Cook conducted record checks and tentatively identified N.O. as Lun Simon
1D #2730277 and Juice as Jason Tureaud ID #1283685. Your affiant generated photo line-ups with Simon
and Tureaud.
Your affiant and Detective Cook located and contacted Harry at his sister’s residence. Harry agreed to
provide the truth about what happened. Harry confirmed it was he, Haley, N.O.
female couple known to Haley were hanging out at this residence. The couple left leaving everybody else
in the home. N.O. and Juice were talking about Snoop and their intent to beat him up. It appeared Snoop
Juice and a male and
was due to stop by Harry's residence sometime that night. Harry decided to leave and when he was
returning home he saw N.O. walking up a street that connected Harry's residence with N.O.'s apartment
Harry claimed he saw nothing in N.O.’s hand and he appeared normal. When Harry got to his residence
he saw Juice, who was crying. Juice said Haley was dead and N.O. killed her. Juice then warmed Harry
that if he said anything to the police he would be dead. Juice then got into a black four-door vehicle and
drove away. The vehicle appeared to Harry as an early to mid-90s import, which was possibly a Nissan
Altima or Maxima, with tinted windows.
Harry denied that the motive behind the death was due to a robbery. Harry also denied he heard the
gunshots right after he exited the home. Harry said N.O. knew where he kept the handgun. Harry then
provided detectives with a Super Pawn receipt in the namie of Lun Simon. The receipt listed Simon’s
address as Iii Your affiant then showed Harry the two photo line-ups. Harry
viewed the photo line-ups and positively identified Simon as N.O. and Tureaud as Juice. Your affiant
asked Harry what was N.O.'s and Juice’s connection to Haley. Harry said N.O. was Haley's
methamphetamine dealer, and Juice was a marijuana dealer.

On January 31* your affiant received a phone call from a relative of Simon, identified as Lionel Holmes.
Holmes said he recently received a phone call from Simon, who also goes by the moniker of “New
Orleans." Simon told Holmes he did something stupid and to watch the news in Las Vegas. Simon
provided no additional details. Holmes ended the call and made contact with an unknown subject who
also lived in Las Vegas. The unknown subject said Simon shot Haley because she had stolen drugs from
him. The murder happened inside the Haley's house and there were two other people involved in the
murder. They were a male who went by the moniker of “Jenner” and Haley's roommate (Mark Harry)
The unknown subject also said the weapon used in the murder belonged to the roommate, and the
handgun was left at the scene after the shooting,
On February 6" your affiant, Detective Cook and other homicide served a search warrant at Simon's
residence, located at [IMEEM and Tureaud's residence, located at
[litte search warrant authorized by District Court Judge Jerry Wiese and executed by personnel from
the LVMPD SWAT Section. Simon was not home and it appeared he was in the process of moving his
property. Tureaud was contacted and interviewed by Detective Cook. In summary, Tureaud said he went
to Harry's house earlier and met with Harry. Harry told him that Simon had his handgun. Tureaud said
he shouldn't have done that because Simon was upset at Haley because he suspected Haley and Snoop
burglarized his apartment. Tureaud left and later returned to Harry's residence. Inside the residence was
Harry, Haley, Simon and a couple, which left before the murder.
Harry exited the residence, leaving only Haley, Simon and Tureaud inside the residence. Tureaud was
‘seated on the couch, Haley was standing in the kitchen, and Simon was standing approximately three to
five feet away from her. Simon appeared to be upset, and was pacing back and forth. Suddenly, Tureaud
heard two gunshots and saw Haley on the kitchen floor. Simon then said nothing and walked out of
Harry's residence. Tureaud followed Simon and saw Harry standing on the driveway. Tureaud got into
his vehicle, which was a black Chevrolet Impala, and Simon asked him for a ride. Tureaud refused and
drove home. The next day Tureaud received a voice call from Simon. Simon told Tureaud that he dumped
the handgun by the fire station located near the intersection of Alexander Rd. and Pecos Rd. and told
Tureaud to not say anything about the murder.
