Appreciative Inquiry

“You have seen a dandelion grow in a crack in the sidewalk. It

reaches for the sun. The dandelion never tells itself, “It’s too hard. I
can’t do it.” The dandelion says, “I see the sun. It shines on me. It
is right within my grasp.” And the dandelion makes come true
what it surmises; A dandelion doesn’t contemplate defeat. A
dandelion knows he is to reach the sun, and not even concrete
will stand in the dandelion's way.” … from Heavens Letters

Nature solves Mental Contradictions in Inventive ways”

“Nature ways
There is another dimension to the Dandelion that reaches for the
sun and doesn’t let concrete stand in its way. I am talking about
acceptance that resilience through adversity makes possible.

Once the Dandelion lets go of attachment to seeking the light it

dies it becomes light - drifting through the air to settle in another
place to continue life in another form – as a new ‘now’.

When we understand that attachment to outcomes will affect our subjective experience we as
the individual can explore “why attach to belief that an outcome is necessary when
acceptance that an experience will form as a process and provide a learning experience
instead of attachment and disappointment”.

Let me share the Indian form of awakening – Kundalini; where the

awakened self begins to explore through a conscious reckoning
through looking at experience as a mindful moment; without
attachment meaning – minus judgement.

The root form of any awakening provides this relationship from nature; the perfection of nature
turns into a value within your character.

Everything is relative so I may as well mention the Chinese have been using the analogy I am
using – the Dandelion to treat breast cancer for more than 1,100 years. They also use it for:
abscesses, appendicitis, boils, caries, dermatitis, fever, inflammation, liver ailments, mastitis,
scrofula, snakebites, and stomach aches. This is the physical fallout from a mental thought
patterning process.

If – as humans we are to detach from belief then acceptance of a

greater understanding is the fallout from conflict.

So, one white ‘seed head’ hit with a gust of wind can start 200 or more
new plants. It’s built to last, I like to say. The complementary thinking in
alignment with this is: once detachment to belief exists … how many
neurons can expand the brain’s network for neuro-networking development? 200 to the power
of – oh! I’m not going there!!!

And they say Nerds sustain your imagination; maybe there is some truth in that? This is true -
Belief! The answer lies in the middle of it! – Acceptance is the alpha model, the first or most

significant occurrence of something; and everything else is a Choice! By Sharon
