FBLA Creed and What it Means

I believe education is the right of every person.

I believe the future depends on mutual understanding and cooperation among business, industry, labor,
religious, family, and educational institutions, as well as people around the world. I agree to do my utmost to
bring about understanding and cooperation among all of these groups.

I believe every person should prepare for a useful occupation and carry on that occupation in a manner that
brings the greatest good to the greatest number.

I believe every person should actively work toward improving social, political, community, and family life.

I believe every person has the right to earn a living at a useful occupation.

I believe every person should take responsibility for carrying out assigned tasks in a manner that brings credit
to self, associates, school, and community.

I believe I have the responsibility to work efficiently and to think clearly. I promise to use my abilities to make
the world a better place for everyone.

Part 2: From a personal standpoint, the creed states multiple things to me. One thing
being that everyone has the right to an education. Another thing is that every single person
can have a impact in business and change something about the world. Lastly it says that
everything can work together and that the future depends on all the people working
together to form successful cooperative groups. We all need to work effectively to change
the world and make it the best it can be for everyone.

Part 3: From a society and business standpoint it says different things. One thing that is the
same though is that everyone has the right to an education. Something that it says that is
different is that we need to work together whether we get along or not to create a
successful society. You need to learn how to sacrifice things for the greater good and to
help the mass of people. Lastly you must be an effective useful worker in order to make the
world a better place for everyone.
