When it comes to the topic of Global Warming or anything related to our Earths
environment, most of us will steadily agree that were in need of a change immediately.
But how much action do we actually take? Data that has been proven many times has
shown us how unhealthy our earth has been getting throughout many years. Problems like
pollution in the air, contamination in oceans, deforestation, and fast growth rate in
temperature need to be solved quickly. I want my future ,and my children's future, and
the rest of humanity to live a long, healthy life without any natural conditions interfering.
According to NASA, Global temperature rise has lead to many other problems like
shrinking ice sheets and warming oceans;however, stopping Mother Nature from
happening is not an option, but using tools to help us not contribute to any of the
problems is. We need our great leaders to lead us in the direction that benefits our planet
I have been to a country that means very much to me where there is minimal
evidence of Global Warming because of the slow rate of industrialization. The history of
the country lies beneath the beautiful landscape, and animals. I should feel the same for
the country I live in. We all should. Chances for habitats and ecosystems to adapt
naturally are decreasing with the increase of global warming. There are many pieces of
evidence that prove that global warming is a major threat to mankind. One example of a
cause of global warming is greenhouse gases and humans and their inventions emit them
respiration and volcano eruptions, but with deforestation, land use changes and the
burning of fossil fuels occurs. All these causes of emitting Carbon Dioxide in an unnatural
way is deteriorating our earth slowly and affecting my life, and everyone else's.
Another example of global warming is the extreme rising of sea level. Analysis
from Union Of Concerned Scientists shows that sea level has been rising at the rate of
about 0.06 inches per decade since 1900. Sea level rises above land but sea level does not
rises above what it already has. After hundreds of years there will be no land for sea level
to rise above. Major cause of global sea-level rise are thermal expansion caused by the
warming of the oceans and the loss of land based ice, such as glaciers and ice sheets. In
the United States, about 40% of population live in areas where sea level is a cause of
flooding. Residents in those areas are in danger and we need to help others in their
situations. Urban areas, local areas, industries and infrastructure are at risk. Higher sea
level could cause a deadly and destructive storm that could injure or kill many people.
What can we do? To those who believe this is not an issue, we can do our part to
help Mother Nature if we just educate everyone others. It all begins at home. First step
that anyone can do in their own household is reduce, reuse, and recycle. Families should
use products that are recyclable and companies should not create products that are
energy-efficient products. You can purchase LED light bulbs at your local hardware store
that are designed to use less energy light than standard light bulbs. Also when buying a
new car, purchase a car that offers good gas milage. With these steps we can begin a set
of footprints, a set of footprints with a short path to a healthy Earth. Now the birds
chirping in the morning will summon us to wake up again to an earth millions of years
ago.
young or older minds of what's going on in the world. The world is not a stage that we
can just simply watch and ignore as the play goes on.Let the world come together to help
one another. Let the world come together to help the earth live long, and beautiful. Let
the world come together to let us live another day. Will you join in this tremendous
journey. A journey that may only benefit you little but to your future kids, grandkids,
grand grandkids and so on, the next President of the United States would play a huge part
in their life no matter what you can do. That journey should begin with our world leaders
