BALLISTIC PENDULUM PARTS AND FUNCTIONS

1.SPRING GUN- is made by compressing a spring in a tube and then

latching the spring at the compressed position.
2.TRIGGER- a small device that releases a spring or catch and so sets
off a mechanism, especially in order to fire a gun.
3.PENDULUM- a weight hung from a fixed point so that it can swing freely
backward and forward, especially a rod with a weight at the end that
regulates the mechanism of a clock.
4. C.M INDICATOR- an instrument for automatically making a diagram that
indicates the pressure in and volume of the working fluid of an engine
throughout the cycle.
METER STICK

a measuring stick one meter long that is marked off in centimeters and
usually millimeters.
