Up with the Joneses

Dear Family and Friends,

The beginning of a new year is usually filled with new ideas, plans, hopes, and dreams. For us in the U.S. it also includes
a new President. Yet, the future is also filled with uncertainties, because we dont know what will actually happen as the
year reveals itself. However, we always have one certainty that can keep us steady no matter what may occur; what
God promises, He guarantees, because He is faithful.

Earlier this month Stephen and I had the privilege of serving again with the
evangelism team of our partner in Colombia (Iglesia Bautista Renacer). We
enjoyed another week of outreach in the small city of Ambalema serving in
evangelism, transporting children to-from the DVBS, working on
remodeling/construction of the house/church (see photo), assisting the
mobile movie team each night, and even helping in the kitchen. It was a
blessed week with new converts coming to Christ and young believers
encouraged and strengthened in their faith. Please pray for growth!

On the 30th of this month I will travel back to Nigeria to repair and
install a screen that was damaged while being removed from an old
Mobile Unit to a newer one. They have not been able to do this
themselves and the lack of use of the screen has almost halted the
film ministry. Hopefully, I will be able to restore it all in the week I
will be there. Please pray for Gods grace for me to accomplish this.

God is faithful This will be our family theme this

year and we will keep track of how He chooses to show us
His faithfulness and trust we will also be faithful to follow
His plans and goals for us in the months ahead. January is
always a month of getting back to normal or the routine
after Christmas. We had a wonderful time with our family at
Christmas and even had an unexpected trip to Wisconsin to
visit my mom and family. We had not been up for Christmas
since early in our marriage, and there was plenty of snow to
play in this time. (see photos) We look forward to faithfully

One of our greatest blessings throughout the New Years we have

served with DIM is the faithfulness of those who support us. There
have been some who, for reasons beyond their control, have not been
able to continue to support us year after year, but we have been
amazed at how many of you have. We cant thank you enough for the
support and the confidence you give us to keep pushing forward to
give ourselves to all that the Lord would have us do without having to
constantly try to raise more support. Thank you, Thank you. God
