Exective Summary

Setting Up of an ELV system contracting Company in Dubai


Starting Initial works for an OEM branding of copper, fiber
cables and accessories used in ELV systems.
The first company will be formed in 1 month time and trading
company with own brand will be in the market in 6 month time
Invest required from inception to six months for both
companies establishment and running cost $300,000/-
For setting up of trading company in Free zone and sourcing
the products for trading $800,000/- ( over a period of 1 year
from 4th month)
Targeted sales and expenses shown in detail.
As our brand is launched and the product ranges are widened
the turnover can be significantly improved.
Target sales for Trading our own brand for the first year from
the date of launch $ 1.2 to 1.5 million
Our Business Plan is to capture the opportunity of incoming
Events 20-20 in UAE and 2022 FIFA cup in Qatar.
Initially product will be marketed in UAE, Qatar and Oman
Gross profit: for UAE- 20 to 30 for retail, 10-15 for dealers;
Qatar 50-60 for retail and 20-30 for dealers ; Oman 40-55 for
retail and 15-30 for dealers ( all figures are in percentage and
calculated for all items put together)
Our product range will be expanded from group to group only
according to the market conditions- see details in link
Once we have sufficient product in the range we will be
establishing retail showrooms in Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
In 5 years we will be reaching $10 million in trading and the
brand will be established.

OEM is a term used when one company makes full or a


part system that is used in another company's end
product. More simply taking products from reputed
manufacturers in different parts of world with strict
quality plan and control and developing a new brand in
ELV cabling and associated accessories. This proposal
aims at creating a global brand with the help of OEM
partners in the field of Extra low voltage cables and
accessories. Head office based in Dubai and with UK
technology and strict quality control. Our range of
products will be launched in the middle- east market. The
brand will be as good as the market leaders in this area
with superior quality and presentation. OEM always have
lot of flexibility and greatly reduces the risk of selling
through dealers.
Once we establish our brand name in the middle east
market, the brand will be distributed to Africa, Asia Pacific
, Europe and Americas. In a period of five to seven years
we are planning to have a global presence for the brand.
In the mean time we will be able to add more associated
products like cctv camera, network switches, fire alarm
systems etc to our brand. This will make the brand
equivalent or even superior to similar leading products in
the market.

This is prepared by an Electronics Engineer who


has extensive (20+years) experience in the similar
field through middle east and knows all the
specifications, branding, quality and sourcing,
manufacturing companies around the globe.

The Quality control, R&D and operations office
can be set up in any of the free zones in UAE.
This will be the MEA head office
The UK office will be operational in later stage
only. But this address will be given as the
Regional office for US & Europe
For showing an impression of global brand a
virtual office can be registered in far-east
(Hongkong/Singapore/ Bangkok) as Regional
office for Asia region.
The website and catalogue will be showing all
products in the range. (fire cables, control
cables, category cables, fiber cables, Server
cabinets and associated accessories as per the
latest EN standards following in middle east
countries)
Items will be sourced from exceptionally good
factories in the Far east with strict quality
control procedure and good pricing
Though we show all the products in our
website, Physically the products will be
introduced group by group only.
Initially we will be targeting Qatar, UAE, KSA.
Second phase Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain,
India and Iran. Third phase North Africa and
eastern Europe and in the next phase we
should go globally.

To start with, we will be going to the market


through resellers/distributers. Later we can setup
our direct outlets in Qatar, Oman and later in all
possible countries.
Within one year R&D and design office can be
shifted to India.The products will be shipped to
Dubai. From Dubai warehouse this will be
distributed to other countries by road.

which more than 50% in decision making role.
Expo 2020 in Dubai and FIFA 2022 in Qatar brings
large number of Projects which increases the
market demand.
Products like Fire Alarm Cables, Control Cables and
BMS cables have comparatively less competition in
the market.
Our product is used in all new commercial
residential and industrial Projects in which we
will be selling to integrators and MEP
contractors. (This is the basic infrastructure
required for telephone, internet connections,
Fire Alarm, BMS, cctv cameras, access control
etc.)
In all type of projects around the globe this is
required without much difference in
specifications.
Our primary focus is middle-east market which
has the largest potential in terms of
construction Projects.
