years. In addition to revamps, catalyst
changes and normal maintenance on
converters occurs depending on catalyst
and unit performance.

Mourik offers a full service package for

ammonia converters from a simple cata-
lyst replacement to full internals modifi-
cations (mainly to the basket), supply of
cranes, bolt-tensioning etc. The specia-
list aspects will vary depending on the
design and type of converter.

Unloading of the highly pyrophoric

catalyst requires special vacuum and life
support equipment. The removal and
installation of internals is our speciality
up to and including certified and coded
welding under inert conditions.
