Breast cancer is a kind of disease that is feared by women
because the disease can lead to loss of vital organs of women.
Estimated to have occurred 7.6 million deaths from cancer worldwide. Every year 12 million people worldwide suffering from cancer, of which 160 thousand (2.1%) of cancer patients around the world are children and most often encountered in the age of 40-49 years. Breast cancer can be caught early with breast self- examination (BSE). BSE is the early detection measures for symptoms of breast cancer. The purpose of research is to find out the PKK cadre knowledge about Breast Self Examination (BSE) based on age and education. The research method uses a descriptive study with cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study was 33. How to use the questionnaire and data collection techniques that used simple random sampling. Data management using data tabulation. In general, the results of this study showed that most of the respondents knowledge that as many as 17 respondents (51.51%) had good knowledge, most of which as many as 11 respondents (57.89%) had good knowledge in the age of 20-35 years, while the majority of which as many as 10 respondents (55.56%) had good knowledge on the level of secondary education.
