The adapter can be locally manufactured using one Pomona Banana Plug, Part No. 1330-2, NSN 5935-00-335-8778
or equivalent and one 1K OHM, 1 WATT RESISTOR, Part No. RCR32G102JR, NSN 5905-00-141-1267; or Part No.
RCR32G102JS, NSN 5905-00-121-9861. The adapter may be assembled as follows:
a. Unscrew each setscrew inside of plug.
b. Bend resistor leads to allow them to go through the plug access holes.
c. Tighten each setscrew and cut off excess of resistor leads.
d. Cover resistor leads and both sides of plug access holes with RTV162, Part No. 960120-1, NSN 8040-00-118-2695
or equivalent.
e. The leads provided with the multimeter have a rubber boot over the end of the leads that is inserted into the multimeter.
This boot must be cut off to allow the leads to be inserted into the adapter assembly.

a. Breathing Fumes: Remove to fresh air. If the victim is conscious, have him wash out his mouth with copious quantities
of water. Then have him drink milk, preferably mixed with the whites of eggs. If milk and egg whites are not available,
have the patient drink as much water as possible.
b. Eyes: Wash the eyes with copious quantities of running water for 15 minutes. Hold the eye lids apart to make sure
the water washes all tissues of the surface of the eyes and lids. Do not use hot water. A physician, preferably an eye
specialist, shall be called immediately. If he does not arrive within 15 minutes, eye irrigation shall be resumed for
a second 15-minute period. After the first irrigation, two or three drops of 0.5% pontocaine solution or equally
effective aqueous topical anesthetic may be placed in the eyes by a qualified first aid man. Do not use any other
solution or ointment.
c. Skin Contact: All contaminated clothing shall be removed immediately. Flush affected areas of the body with copious
quantities of water until all traces of sulfuric acid are removed. Do not neutralize the acid with mild alkaline solutions
until all areas of contact have been thoroughly washed with plentiful amounts of running water. In case of severe or
extensive burns, shock symptoms - rapid pulse, sweating, collapse - might appear at any time. Place the patient on his
back and keep him warm, not hot, until a physician arrives. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious patient.
