Stefano is an executive with more than 20 years experience gained in
chemical manufacturing and trading industries, with specific focus on
product stewardship and compliance, regulatory affairs, and quality
management.

He has developed the concept of compliance2business creating a

consulting firm to provide a wide range of services assisting companies
to comply with safety and regulatory requirements, maintaining product
integrity and quality.

Before that, he had spent more than 10 year with Azelis - a leading
European distributor of specialty chemicals – where he was SHEQ
Director after having covered different managerial positions.

He had worked for Novaria, one of the constituent Azelis companies,

had appreciated the world of automotive components with Kenmore
and had previous specialty chemicals experience with Lamberti.

He is a well respected keynote speaker and he has attended seminars

about REACH implementation - highlighting key aspects and business
chances – in Europe, Korea, India, Unites States and China.

He has chemical background and he is qualified DGSA (Dangerous

Goods Safety Advisor) according 96/35/EC Directive.

In his spare time he likes to run, read, and countryside walks with his
wife and his dog.

EU Classification and Labelling

The Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation has aligned the
system of classification, labelling and packaging chemical substances and
mixtures with the Globally Harmonised System (GHS).

The CLP criteria have replaced the current system contained in the Dangerous
Substances Directive (67/548/EEC) and the Dangerous Preparations Directive
(1999/45/EC).
