Childrens Ministry

Leader - Connie McKenzie - cmckenzie@cfni.org

Description | We desire to train students who will raise


up this special generation of children who know Him and
will follow in His ways. This is an opportunity to obtain
experience in childrens ministry.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am,


and Tuesday from 6 pm to 10 pm.

General Consideration | Required attendance and


participation each Tuesday evening to minister
to the children.

Travel Required - No

English Tutors for Internationals

Description | As an English Tutor, you will interact with


international students learning English with conversational
activities and games during Remedial English Classes.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am, and


Mondays 6:30 pm 9:30 pm.

General Consideration | Each tutor is required to assist


instructors with Remedial English classes on
Monday evenings.

Evangelism

Description | Evangelism Ministry teaches students


evangelism tools to reach the lost with the gospel of
Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Weekly Commitment | Wednesday morning meetings


are required, and there will be multiple afternoon/evening
outreach opportunities each week.

General Consideration | Student needs to consider if their


schedule is open enough to obtain all 60 hours required per
semester. More opportunities will be offered than what is
mentioned as weekly commitments.

Travel Required | Yes, travel off campus is part of this


STM. Transportation will be provided either by school
vans or carpooling.

CFNI Recruitment Team

Leader - Alanderson Carvalho - recruitmentmanager@cfni.org

Description | This ministry will give students the


opportunity to minister through worship, prayer,
testimonies, and in connecting with prospect students while
representing CFNI in recruitment outreaches. Students
will also promote CFNI in recruitment events such as:
conferences, seminars and college fairs.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am, and


prayer meeting on Wednesday from noon to 1 pm.

General Consideration | An Application and interview will


be necessary prior to approval. The student should have
strong relational skills.

Travel Required | Yes, travel off campus is part of this STM.


Transportation will be provided by school vans.
PARABLE (Drama Ministry)

Description | This ministry teaches dramatic writing, design,


direction and performance. The students will participate in TNE
performances, take trips to local churches with the recruitment
team, produce one full-length show per semester and more.

Weekly Commitment | Wednesday meetings at 7:50 am


and weekly rehearsals/shoots/performances.

General Consideration | 60 ministry hours are required per


semester. Hours are flexible and can be earned through script
submission, tech/design, performance at events, etc.

Travel Required | Travel is part of this student ministry.


Transportation will be provided either by school
vans or carpooling.

Kids For The Nations

Description | We desire to train, equip, prepare and pray


for Kids For The Nations Summer Camps. Students will
have the opportunity to develop new elements for KFN
Day Camp and Preteen Impact.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 7:30 am to


8:35 am, and weekly prayer & fasting times
(12:15 pm - 1 pm each Monday).

General Consideration | Students will be expected to


participate in ministry time/events/activities for KFN in
order to fulfill 45 additional hours throughout the semester.

Travel Required | Yes, travel off campus is part of this STM.

Hospitality & Special Events

Description | Hospitality teaches and trains students how


to be servant leaders and how to put their faith to work
by receiving and treating guests and strangers in a warm,
friendly and generous way.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am, special


events, banquets, parties, conferences and Campus Days.

General Consideration | You should have a natural desire to


serve others and a friendly disposition. Typically hours are
during afternoon and evening.

Travel Required | Yes, travel off campus is part of this STM.


Transportation will be provided by school vans.
Jail & Prison Ministries

Description | We attend the Dallas County Jail and


minister to the inmates through testimonies, worship and
the Gospel. Every week we get to witness redemption,
transformation and healings through the power of God.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am, and


Sunday from 4:30 pm to 9 pm.

General Consideration | A Texas ID/Drivers License is a


requirement. If you are an international student with
a Social Security card, you can get an ID.

Travel Required | Yes, travel off campus is part of this


STM. Transportation will be provided by school vans.

Moral Issues & Social Justice

Description | The purpose of Enough is enough is that


men, women, youth and children join together and help
restore the family to its original purpose created by God, as
defined in the Bible.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am, and


Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm.

General Consideration | Required participation in House of


Prayer on Fridays 7:30 am, and assisting 2 Pro-Life Events
during the semester.

Travel Required | Yes, travel off campus is part of this STM.


Transportation will be provided by school vans.
Local Church

Description | This ministry serves students who already


serve in local churches or ministries by serving on music
teams, childrens ministries, as youth workers, etc. The
ministry must be verified by the leaders.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am, and we


normally serve on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights.

General Consideration | They should already have a


commitment and involvement in a local church or
ministry (4 hours/week).

Travel Required | Yes.

Prayer & Intercession

Description | The Prayer and Intercession Student Ministry


is designed around spending time in the presence of God.
Students can serve in the GLHOP or attend weekly prayer
sets.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am. Hours


spent in the prayer room are flexible to your schedule.

General Consideration | Hours are flexible and


available through prayer sets, conferences and
other on-campus events.

Travel Required | No.

Families Resident Assistant (RA)

Description | As a ministry of the Deans Department, the


RAs primary function is to assist students in their spiritual
and social adjustments to a Bible school environment.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am.


Once a month event, weekly visits. Typical day of the
week is Saturday evening.

General Consideration | Having care and concern


for people.

Travel Required | No.


Mens Resident Assistant (RA)

Womens Resident Assistant (RA)

Description | Student Council members are used to


complete miscellaneous tasks that the staff and faculty
may deem necessary, primarily receiving instruction from
the Directors office.

Guest Speaker Hosting, Weekly Prayer, Campus Activities.

Student Informer

Description | The Student Informer Student Ministry is a


team of videographers, photographers, journalists, bloggers,
writers and artists that are responsible for keeping all of the
students informed and connected.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am. Basically


all the activities on campusmostly afternoon and some at
night.

General Consideration | This ministry requires an interest


in journalism, photography, video or graphic design. Be
prepared to bring us your portfolio if you have one.
An application and interview will be necessary prior to approval.

Travel Required | Yes, travel off campus is part of this STM.

Technical Arts

Description | The Technical Arts Student Ministry will train


students in aspects of live and studio production. They will
be responsible for daily live production for the Institute, and
will serve during events.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am. Also


every Tuesday and Friday from 6 pm to 10 pm.

General Consideration | Any conference from CFNI


requires the students participation, such as
Voice of Healing and others.

Travel Required | No.

Worship & Arts Ensemble

Description | This student ministry will require hands-on


interactive training in conjunction with the instruction given.
The goal is to inform and better equip the worshipper in their
endeavor to pursue the heart of God and flow in worship by
learning sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am. Also at


TNE and Night of Worship from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.

General Consideration | Additional activities are: Small Group


Project and the paper Song Critique.

Travel Required | No.

llevar a cabo las traducciones de las lecciones en el IB de

Museum of Earth History

Description | The purpose of the Museum Student Ministry


is to provide practical training on being an effective
creation tour guide and to provide a solid defense of the
biblical worldview.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 8 am.

General Consideration | There is a requirement to learn


the museum tour script and to conduct guided tours
of the museum.

Travel Required | No.


Sports Student Ministry

Description | The Sports Student Ministry is designed


to give team members hands-on experience in reaching
people from the DFW community with the gospel of Jesus
Christ using sports (Soccer, Basketball, Baseball).

Weekly Commitment | Wednesdays 8 am, Tuesdays


and Thursdays 5 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday or
Thurdsay 6 pm-10 pm, Saturday 9 am.

General Consideration | Hours are obtained by serving in


CFNI Intramural leagues on campus and/or partnering with
a local sports ministry in the DFW area.

Travel Required | Yes, carpooling will be available.

Youth For The Nations (English)

Description | To provide practical training in counseling,


prayer, hospitality, public relations, creating material for
YFN resources, altar ministry and discipleship during the
fall and spring semesters.

Weekly Commitment | Every Wednesday at 7:45 am, and


Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:15 pm - 1 pm.

General Consideration | Punctuality to all things YFN-


related will be expected.

Missions Connect

Description | Missions Connect provides opportunities


to connect with missionaries, volunteer at international
churches, participate in missions events, minister to victims
of human trafficking and partner with local and international
organizations reaching out to various ethnic groups.

Weekly Commitment | Weekly meetings at 8 a.m. on


Wednesdays and a ministry commitment of your choice:
serving at an international church, tutoring for refugee
children, etc.

General Consideration | We expect you to be flexible and


work hard while engaging in adventure and collecting
unforgettable cross-cultural experiences.

Travel Required | Off-campus travel is part of the Missions


Connect Ministry; non-travel options are also available.
Transportation is provided by the school or carpooling.
