Invertebrate Support Systems

In invertebrate support system has lack of back bone in the animals. Invertebrates are the
most diverse group of animal in our plants. A vast majority of plants are invertebrates. the
invertebrate support system scientifically arranged into around 30 separate phyla ringing
from simple organism such as sponges, roundworms, flatworms to more complex
creature such as arthropods and molluscs.
Invertebrates do not have bony skeletons like vertebrates. Many have an internal or
external skeleton of some sort which is made from various materials. Some invertebrate
have hard structures which consist of crystalline (like crystal, clear or transparent)
materials while others have an outer covering called a cuticle, as in arthropods. which is
made out of (a nitrogen-containing polysaccharide, related chemically to cellulose, that
forms a semitransparent horny substance). Some invertebrates maintain their body shape
by a tough, flexible cuticle and high internal pressure.
They provide structural support and deter predators. Large spicules, visible to the naked
eye are referred to as megascleres, while smaller, microscopic ones are termed
microscleres. Instead most rely on maintaining a constant water flow through their bodies
to obtain their food and oxygen and to remove waste. Sponges are known as the
regenerating from fragments that are broken off, although this only works if the
fragments include the right types of cells.
