- Worked on a team with seven other senators to improve the education experience for students at the University of Florida

- Worked to draft a $17.8 million budget fiscal year 2014-2015 that, as a result of a budget decrease from the previous years
necessitated a benefit-cost analysis of dozens of programs
- Assisted in drafting a $18.9 million budget fiscal year 2013-2014 which allocated students funds towards student organizations and
facilities
- Acting Chair that funded 124 student organizations via a $1.5 million allocation to subsidize and promote the success of each
organization

January 2014-May 2015

- Reviewed all non-budgetary bills, resolutions, and proposed constitutional amendments submitted to the Senate and constitutions of any
student organization requesting special allocations or requesting or again receiving an annual budget
- Wrote and pass legislation on behalf of students such as 24/5 library, bike repair stations, free printing in residence halls, and lower tuition

- Examine, amend if warranted, and report to the Senate all special requests for allocations.
- Submit into the Senate records all special requests for allocations and other documents submitted to the committee

- Collaborated specifically with the University of Florida administration to analyze the effectiveness of ProctorU exams for online classes

- Organized volunteer events on behalf of Student Government to assist in serving meals and organizing their food pantry
- Participated on behalf of my college in a food drive that collected non perishable food items before the summer break and donated the
food the St. Francis food pantry to subsides the lack of donations during the summer, then created a presentation to create awareness about
volunteering opportunities
