Brian explained that he and his wife Bridget have been married for 5 years and they both have separate
bank accounts. Brian pays the mortgage and a phone bill and his wife pays some of the utilities and car
payments. Brian stated that he and his wife come to the casino together quite often; 8 out of 10times. He
‘commented that they sometimes sit right next to each other while playing slot machines. Their game of

When they didn’t have their children, they would come to the casino on Thursday nights and stay late into
the morning gambling. He said that nobody inside the casino knew him or bothered him about work

questioning him or bothering him about a city matter. Brian was recently elected Mayor of Lancaster, Ohio.
Brian plays the 5, 10 and 25 cent video poker machines. He doesn’t know how much money Bridget goes
through while gambling inside the casino. When asked what the most Bridget had ever won, Brian stated
