The Battle of Angra Pequena

The massed Prussian Fleet despatched to deal with the

Britannian incursion into Africa had no easy journey.
Sailing down the East Coast of Africa, battered by freak
storms and harried by naval strikes from Indian Raj ships,
the Fleet was making for the port of Mahajanga, near the
Prussian Empires newly established military base of Conradsburg, on Madagascar.
From Mahajanga, the Prussian Fleet would re-supply,
share intelligence with members of the exploratory teams
on the African mainland, and then strike out south past
the Cape of Good Hope and then sail at full speed north to
engage their old enemy.

When the Fleet hit the Cape it was engulfed by a storm

like no one had ever experienced before. Lightning strikes
of unprecedented power, water vortexes that literally
pulled vessels under, and ferocious eaves that battered
hulls. By the time they had turned north the Fleet had
already fought its first battle!
Putting this behind it, the Fleet began to run repairs as it
sailed north, spotters sent out to report on the area and it
did not take for them long to discover a flotilla of Kingdom of Britannina warships steaming towards them ...the
Prussian Commodore announced battle stations and the
location of Angra Pequena Bay was about to become the
first major battle of the Africa Campaign but it would
certainly not be the last.
