ESSAY WRITING; SEOUL TRIP

School holiday is the perfect time for us to spend time with our family. Last
school holiday, I went a vacation at Seoul, Korea with my beloved family. We
went there on 15th March 2015. The flight took 6 hours and a half to arrive Seoul.
We safely arrived there on 8 a.m. in Korea. Our tour guide picked our up at
the Incheon Airport. We took a bus to our guest house at Sinchon. After checked
in into the guest house, we went to Gyeongbukgung Palace. It was a real palace
which has been used before. Gyeongbukgung Palace is a big place which also
placed a museum named Sejong Museum. We had an opportunity in wearing the
traditional attire. We were feeling WOW! in wearing it. After that, we went to
Cheongyae Stream which is a preserve stream at the middle of the town.
On the next day, we went to the cultural village. Then, we went to Namsan
Tower which placed the love padlock gate. After that, our tour guide brought us
to the muslim centre at Itaewon. We went to Masjid Itaewon which placed on top
of the hill. That day was the most tiring day ever because every place we went is
on top of the hill.
The third day was the most interesting day because we were brought by
our tour guide to the Nami Island. We wore winter jacket, muflar and even gloves
due to the cold weather on Nami Island. We took a lot of pictures there.
Unfortunately, I got vomit during lunch hour due to the sea sick, I guess.
Oh.no! I said.
On the next day, we went shopping at Myeongdong, the shopping complex
which have more that hundred visitors per day. After that we went to
Dongdaemun and Namdaemun which sale lots of cheap things. I had spent more
than 150000 won on that day.
On 20th March 2015, we woke up early due to our early flight. We went to
Incheon Airport and went back to Kuala Lumpur in the morning and back to
Kuching on the last flight of the day. This is the most exciting holiday I have ever
gone. I hope I can go for a vacation trip again for the next school holiday.

REFLECTION

For WAJ3031; English Language Proficiency II, my classmates and I were

given a task by our lecturer. We were asked to do a Grammar Portfolio for pair
works task and writing text and reflection as individual task. Fortunately, we
were given a simple task.
Besides, through this task, I have gained lots of new knowledge. I have
gained new vocabulary, using the correct grammar in other to make sentences
and pronounce the correct way based on pronunciation guide. All of the
knowledge I get from this subject have I practiced in doing this task.
Last but not least, even though this is more to individual task, but us as
classmates still doing this task together. We share knowledge, and help each
other if there any problems occur. This task has really taught me the meaning of
corporation and team work. Without teamwork, the task will not be able to
complete.
Hopefully all of the knowledge that I have gained, I will apply it in my life
in being a good educator in the future to educate my future students to be a
good-behavioural person and can give benefits towards others.
