1- Course Objectives:

By the end of the course the students will be able to:


Understand the mechanism of heat and mass convection
Unstand the similarity between heat and mass transfer by convection
Solve problems involving heat and mass transfer in forced external flow and
internal flows, free convection, and boiling and condensation
Perform thermal analysis and design for heat exchangers

2- Intended learning outcomes of course (ILOs)


a-Knowledge and understanding:
By the end of the course the students will be able to:
a1. Outline the main concepts, principles and theories of heat and mass

Recognize the principles, operation, and types of heat exchangers as well as
air conditioning systems

refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
