You are more likely to achieve long-term academic or career goals if you visualize small achievements
leading to long-term success. Throughout this project you will identify your goals and develop a plan of
action to achieve them.
Directions: You will research the topics below and compile the information into a poster or powerpoint
that will show your Career Road Map. For your research, start on the Career Cruising website. Only go
to other sites after you have gotten as much information as you can from Career Cruising. You will also
need to list all the resources you used in a Works Cited page.
Other Directions:
1. Poster
a. Organize the research topics on your poster in an easy to read fashion
b. All information must be typed or written in ink
c. Add images to your poster that relate to the information
d. Works Cited page needs to be written on the back or stapled to the poster
e. All information needs to be written in complete sentences with proper spelling, grammar,
and punctuation.
2. Powerpoint
a. Each research topic needs to be organized into separate slides in your powerpoint
b. Add images to the slides that relate to the information
c. Works Cited page needs to be on slides at the end of your powerpoint
d. All information needs to be written in complete sentences with proper spelling, grammar,
and punctuation.

Use your notes on writing various Works Cited page entries
You cannot cite Career Cruising as one source, you need to cite each page you use separately
Websites like Purdue OWL: MLA and easybib.com can help you with Works Cited entries, but
double check that it is correct based on your notes
