Scope of Contract :

Our offer is budgetary offer based on the estimation prepared using for preliminary
design concepts & above drawings.

Design & Detail Engineering consisting of development of construction drawing based

on the NFPA specification and complies with codes and standards.

Hydraulic Calculation for the Pump Head finalization, Fire Sprinkler system and Fire
Hose Reel.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Fire Sprinkler System, Landing valve,
Fire Hose Reel with cabinet & External Fire Hydrant equipments as per attached BOQ

Supply, installation of valves and accessories as per attached BOQ.

Supply installation of Fire Fighting Extinguisher as per attached BOQ.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Addressable fire alarm systems as per
the attached BOQ.

Supply, fixing of Fire alarm control panel & detectors including cable and conduit as per
attached BQO.

Supply and installation of UL Listed FM approved 1 no. Electrical driven Pump (Duty)
+ 1 no. Diesel Engine Pump (standby) each capacity 1000GPM @ 170 PSI (Maximum)
and 1 no. Jockey Pump of capacity 50 GPM @ 180 PSI. The packaged pump set consists
above mentioned pumps with pressure gauge, pressure switch, control panel as per
attached BOQ.

Any changes in the, Specification, scope will be added& Variation at later stage, the
same shall be provided at additional cost.

Piping Material confirming to ASTM A53, GR B, ERW Pipes, finishing shall be locally
hot dip galvanized, Fittings 50 NB below shall be threaded fittings & 50 NB above shall
be grooved fittings as per the design pressure requirement.

IV.

EXCLUSION

All kind of civil related work such as excavation, back filling, Core cutting in the wall,
basement passing the electrical cables & Fire Fighting pipes, chipping, wall breaking,
loading / unloading.

Construction of Pump room and Pump Room Foundation

Supply and Installation of Fire water Tank and its related accessories, piping, valves
etc.,

Plinth for external hydrant post & External hose cabinet

Providing sleeves in the holes for passing the electrical cables, Fire Fighting pipes &
backfilling with the fire rated foams.

Providing trust block for underground pipes wherever it is changing the directions or
rising for connection of the hydrant post & valves.

Passive fire protection required for cables & steel structure.

Passive fire sealing works for all opening and cutouts.

Supply & Installation of Fire rated doors.

Structural walkways, catwalks, access & service platforms.

Protective cover / sun shade structure for outdoor equipment.

Any type of Non Destructive testing, 3rd party Radiography test inspection on 10% of the
weld joints carried out both in workshop and field

Contractors All Risk Policy

Engine sound attenuation enclosure with fans and louvers for fire pumps.
Any safety interlocking system.
Pressure vents for CAS system. Concrete or steel foundation required for housing the
proposed CAS cylinders.
Discharge test, Enclosure for cylinders, door holders etc.
Protection, Road crossing sleeve pipe for the U/G pipes.

Valve chamber with cover for the below ground valves.

RCC/PCC support for the outdoor area A/G ground piping & outdoor detection system
equipment & Fire Barriers

All travel, boarding & lodging expenses related to if any factory inspection required.

Cost for any Third party Material inspection / Third party inspection services; both Onsite and Off-site has to be arranged and compensated by the Client at actual. However,
assistance and facilitation for inspections / tests for client nominated third party
inspection agencies will be arranged by us. If required.

TTC will provide the design. But appointing any Fire Consultant for taking Civil defense
preliminary approval for drawings & Bringing ROP for Final Inspection is L & T Scope.

V.

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTE:

Our offer price limited to the Fire Fighting items as per the BOQ provided herewith.
After the detail engineering if more system or increase of qty is demanding by Fire
consultant / ROP, then the same shall be considered as Variation at actuals.

ANNEXURE III, TERMS & CONDITIONS

Price Basis:
Price quoted is in Rial Omani, DDP Muscat.
Validity:

Our offer is valid for 30 days from the date of this offer. Thereafter subject to take reconfirmation in
writing from us.
Payment Terms:

20% of Contract Value as advance along with the work order ( Advance will not be
recovered during monthly progressive billing)

70 % of Contract value on progressive billing against firefighting products & installation

material on pro-rata basis

5 % against completion of installation work

5% against Testing & commissioning & getting ROP Civil defense approval

All the above payments shall be made within 20 days from the date of submission of invoice or
within 10 days from the date of certification of the invoice by your Site.
Price Variation:
Our prices shall remain firm till the completion of the contract provided if the order is placed on us
within the validity period.
Labour:
Our offer includes for the provision of all labour, skilled and unskilled supervisory and engineering
charges required for the successful completion and commissioning of the entire job.
Cancellation:
In the unlikely event of cancellation of order either in part or in full for any reason whatsoever,all
expenses incurred plus 15% overheads shall be payable against our invoice for the same.

Delivery/Completion Period:
The completion period of 12 Months shall be subject to the following:
a). Receipt of order together with advance payment.
b) Prompt approval for our design drawings by project consultant / client & thereafter providing
necessary documents proceeding to take approval of local civil defense.

c). Our work not being held up due to non-completion of those associated works not included in our
scope of work.
d). Prompt payments.
e). Force Majeure.
Warranty:
Our System is Warranted for good performance and against defective materials and workmanship
for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning.
Excess of materials:
Normally we supply materials more than what we required actually at site to ensure steady and
continuous progress of work. Therefore, all materials and consumables that are found surplus on
completion of the job shall remain our property and shall be returned to us along with our erection
tools.
Training:
We shall provide operation and maintenance training to Enduser (max. 5 Personnel) for a period of 7
days.
Force Majeure:
The delivery period / work period will be maintained as accurately as possible but we cannot be held
responsible for the delay caused due to war, insurrection, restraint imposed due to government acts
of legislature, failure of electricity, hindrance or scarcity of raw materials or any other event
whatsoever beyond our control.
