Log-In / Log-Out
Data Base is a collection of data that is organized so that its content can easily be
accessed, managed and updated.
Back-up is the activity of copying files or data bases so that they will be
preserved in case of equipment failure.
Home
This module is the entry point of the user interface, it also displays information about
the hotel and it provides a list of all other module included in the system.
Reservation
In this module the user will have the ability to manage and choose the rooms they
need and will allow them to set the future date and time depending on its availability. In
addition to that they can also make a reservation for a certain type of events and add any
additional services that they might need providing that there must be at least a minimum of
three (3) days interval before the exact date of the reservation.
When reserving for a room the client must fill-up a form provided within the site,
he/she must indicate the date of the reservation (future date and time of check-in as well as
the date and time of possible check-out) And he/ she will be able to see the available rooms.
After submitting the form a notification message will be sent to the email address of
the client confirming that the reservation is successfully made, the notification will include
details about the reservation, its total amount, and the deadline of the reservation.
Fifty percent (50%) of the total amount must be deposited to the bank account of the
hotel for the down-payment before the deadline of the reservation for its assurance, and the
other fifty percent (50%) can be paid on the exact date of the event. Once the down-payment
is received by the company, another notification message will be sent including the

This module will provide a security for authorized users. The proposed system will
include a log-in form. This will have two (2) levels of access. The first will be the
Administrator of the system and the Front Office for the second level of access. The
authorized users will have a unique username and password, for at least six to twelve (6-12)
characters long and case sensitive.

The log-in module is the registered user way of gaining access to the additional
content of the website and not available to unregistered guest.
Monitoring
This module will display an overview of the system, the administrator is the only
authorized person to view and manipulate the content of this module.
It consists of the following informations.
-Room
-Room Types & Rates
-Reservation
-Reports
-Users
-Log-In/ Log-Out

Reports
This module displays all the past, present and upcoming reservations/ events held in
the hotel which can be viewed in a month or week display. This will also generate a report
about reservations/ events that has been cancelled either by the client or terminated by the
system and what type of event packages is usually availed by their clients.
File Maintenance

This module will allow the administrator to edit, update and add new offers to their
system, updating of account user is also included.
Methodology
Research Design
The descriptive survey method that the researchers used in this study provides
questionairres that describes the different level of satisfaction. This study aims to discuss the
level of satisfaction of the employees and guests in the selected hotel the Microtel Luisita
Tarlac City along the following; accuracy, security, authentication, immediate retrieval and
storage of information.
Participants of the Study
The respondents of this study were the Microtel Luisita Tarlac employees and guest.
Research Instrument
The main instrument used in this study were set of questionnaires given to the
employees and guests of the selected hotel. It will determine their level of satisfaction along
the following; accuracy, security, authentication and immediate retrieval and storage of

The researchers used unstructured interview, this strategy is used in order to gather
information needed on their questionnaire. The information held by the respondents in a
formal way are used to make the interpretation of data more effective.
Data Gathering Procedure
The researchers will prepare a letter address from their college dean to the
management of the selected hotel the Microtel Tarlac. They will ask permission through the
approval / request letter came from the college dean.
After collecting the needed permissions, the researchers will personally begin the
distribution of the questionnaires to their respondents at the given time and to accomplish the
questionnaires, the researchers will wait on the selected hotel to retrieve the questionnaires.
Results
It present the results, conclusions and recommendations in the study.

A careful analysis of the data reflected in the Table 2 shows the position of the
respondents, majority of the respondents are (7) or 70% are the guests; Employess are three
(3) or 30% respectively.
Therefore this is a clear indication and pro of that majority of the respondents are the
guests. The rating of seven (7) or 70% clearly indicates that the Microtel Luisita is
consistently clean, safe and has a secured accommodations resulting our valued customers to
keep on coming back.

A careful analysis of the data reflected in the Table 3 shows the position of employees
respondents majority of the employee are , three (3) or 30 % are the employees; Admin,
Staff and Front office are one (1) or 10 % respectively.

Conclusion
The system was mainly designed to reduce the manual work on booking for a
reservation, updating and also to give a higher security when it comes to the personal details
of the customers. It also gives an accurate reports, updates and keeps records accordingly.
Online Reservation System increases the security and confidentiality of each files and reports
by providing a security module. The system analyst is the one to strategize on how the
proposed system would work, and what functions are needed to service the user of the system.
Recommendation
This system will discuss the most efficient and effective way on booking for a
reservation. It can save you time while booking, less hassle and it can be easily accessed
anywhere at any time. Thus, we recommend to use this newly designed system for Online
Reservation which is designed to minimize the manual work of the employees through
reservations. With this, we guarantee that all of the personal information of the customers,
guests and clients will be safely kept in a more secured way and all of the information that are
