Guidelines to prepare yourself for Technical Test of Acme Designers

Acme Designers aims to provide Internship opportunity to those students who are capable of
demonstrating their understanding and implementation of their knowledge acquired during the first
few years Bachelors Degree. We are here to help you to polish your skills during internship at Acme
Designers at that level and probity that in the due course you will also have a glimpse the next level
as well.
We understand that you as a student are looking to learn during internship in Architectural firms,
however you need to remember that as a company we can only update and polish your current skills.
We are not educational institution where you can start from scratch. You will be given opportunity to
work on real time projects to help you improve your understanding.
This following guidelines is designed to provide maximum support in helping to be prepared and
demonstrate the best of your knowledge and skills.
You will be provided with a CAD floor Plans with section line indication and you are expected to do
the sections. You are expected to complete the test in 2.15 hours and if required a 15min break.

We would be observing the following to test your knowledge:

1. Units - Meter and millimeter (Metric Scale)

Feet and Inches (British Scale)
2. Layers and line weights in CAD software for drawing elements
3. Sectional Levels
4. Basic theory of section, elevation and View
5. Basic understanding of anthropometrics
Please note it will be your responsibility to request the person in charge from Acme Designers
to perform the 1st review within 45min to 1hrs time.
The 2nd or final review can be requested in 2hrs or as and when you are ready to confirm
completion. The feedback of the test will be provided on spot. However, the Final results will
be informed later over an email and/or call.
