Question 3
Can the pre-market data as shown in the
attached chart be used with confidence on the
opening to catch the opening move?
This is a chart of the ESH0 on 02/22/2010, 9
minutes. I normally use the 3 and 5 minute charts
on open, but those are no longer available. What
I want to be able to do is to catch the sudden
move as shown on this opening.

But you may see them on other platforms as BAC.WS.A
So the question is: should I trade them out this Friday (well this
would be before the class so you can email me separately if you
can)? Or hold them the weekend for tradeout on Monday?

Question 5
I have been looking at the future spreads I trade for VSA principles with
inconsistent results. I was wondering if you have traded or even looked
at spreads using VSA before?
Spreads I trade are HOECLE, RBECLE (CME on Globex) and WTI-Brent
(ICE).
I am very interested in VSA and wanted to back test some of the principles.
Would you explain how I could best quantify some of the principles in order to
do this please?
I guess I am asking if you think there are specific rules than can be applied to
automated trading systems. Can VSA principles help my current black box
approach or should it not be combined in order to help with stops and exiting
strategies?
I think there is something there to use with both grey and black box
approaches and very excited about learning more tomorrow.
