Juliet is saying something about Romeo but her mother thinks it is about someone/thing else
They talk about marriage and Juliet says no
Capulet gets mad and demands that she does

If Juliet refuses, Capulet will no longer want to see her alive
Nurse tells Juliet to marry Paris because he is better
Act 4 Scene 1
Juliet goes to Friar to find a solution
Paris is there talking about wedding arrangements
Juliet says she will commit suicide if she cant be with Romeo
Friar has hope that a crazy idea will work for Romeo and Juliet to be together
Jump off the battle posts of any tower, walk down the crime-ridden streets of a slum, sit in a field
full of poisonous snakes, chain me up with wild bears, hide me every night in a morgue full of
dead bodies with wet, smelly flesh, and skulls with jawbones, or tell me to climb down into a
freshly dug grave and hide me with a dead man in his tomb.
Plan: She tells Capulet she wants to marry paris and go take a sleeping potion and they will
bury her thinking she is dead. They will send Romeo a letter to save her and they will run away
together
Act 4 Scene 2
Capulet is still mad at Juliet a little
Juliet apologizes and agrees to marrying Paris
Capulet tells Juliet to tell Paris they will get married wednesday
Goes to toom and wants to drink potion
Act 4 Scene 3

Juliet pushes mom and nurse out of the room so she can drink the potion
Juliet express her four fears of the potion
-What if it doesnt work? Dagger
-What if it is Poison? He would because he is a holy man
-She wakes up before Romeo gets there and suffocates and dies?
-That she wakes up and lives, goes crazy, and kill herself by beating her brains in with the
bones of her family members.
Act 4 Scene 4
They have been up all night planning the wedding
They hear the Prince coming and they send the nurse to go get Juliet
Act 4 Scene 5
Nurse comes in and tries to wake Juliet up
They realize she is dead get everyone and they are all mourning.
Friar tells the family to turn the wedding into a funeral
Musicians make jokes about the quick turn around (comic relief)
Act 5 Scene 1
Romeo dreams that Juliet found Romeo dead and she kissed and he came back to life
Balthasar tells him that Juliet is dead
Romeo is distraught
Balthasar tells Romeo to not do anything stupid
Romeo is going to a apothecary to get poison to kill himself
Romeo wants to go to Juliet's grave
Act 5 Scene 2
Friar John needed to give Romeo the letter but he wanted another friar to join him on the way.
They got in contact with the plague.
They got on lock down quarantine
They never got the letter and friar lawrence is mad

Act 5 Scene 3

Paris is hiding so he can see

Romeo tells Balthasar he needs to get a ring from Juliet

Paris realizes that it is Romeo and they fight

Friar comes right after he dies and sees balthasar
Balthasar dreamt Romeo killed someone
Friar comes to vault and sees blood
Friar walks in and sees Romeo and Paris dead as Juliet wakes up and they need to leave
because the watchmen are coming
Juliet hears them coming so she takes Romeos dagger and kills herself
One finds Friar Lawrence right outside the yard with tools and weeping
They take him to the chief watchmen
Montague comes saying that his wife just died of shock because Romeo was banished from
Verona
They try to get Friar to explain what is going on
Juliet killed herself with Romeos dagger
Friar lawrence tells them everything
He throws the nurse und the bus
In Romeos letter to his dad he explained everything and it verified what Friar had been saying.
