Individual insurance

Sun Acceler8
is a protection and savings in one that provides guaranteed cash benefits at specific
periods throughout the duration of the policy, plus a lump sum maturity benefit at the
end of 20 years. Both the guaranteed cash benefits and the life insurance coverage
increases to address inflation.
Sun First Aid
is an affordable hospital income plan that helps defray the cost of hospitalization. Its
money back feature gives you the unique benefit of receiving cash whether you get
hospitalized or not.
Sun Dream Achiever
is a life insurance product and savings in one with guaranteed education benefits paid
in four (4) annual installments starting on the year chosen by the insured, regardless of
school and course.
Sun StartUp
is a ten (10) pay, peso denominated, nonparticipating endowment insurance product
maturing at the end of 10 years. This product guarantees payment of the face amount
upon death of the life insured; and return of a portion of the premiums paid when life
insured outlives the 10-year period.
Supplementary Benefits or Riders
are also available to enhance the basic insurance plan.

Group yearly renewable term plan
Death Benefit
Sun Life Philippines shall pay the amount of insurance of an
Employee, in the event of his death, to his designated beneficiary or
beneficiaries indicated to Sun Life Philippines in writing.
Suicide
If an Employee dies by suicide less than one year after the Effective
Date or date of reinstatement of his insurance, the pertinent
provisions of the Insurance Code shall apply. Where no death
benefit is payable, Sun Life Philippines shall refund all premiums
paid from the Effective Date or date of reinstatement of his
insurance to date of death.
Conversion Privilege
Each Employee shall have the privilege to convert his group
insurance into an ordinary life insurance policy without Evidence of
Insurability.

Increasing plan benefits
The Education Benefit per unit is P 1,000. A 20% increase of the Education
benefit is guaranteed every year to cushion the rise in tuition costs

Plans are available in 4, 5 and 7 year courses
Flexible payment terms
You may choose to pay only once or stretch your payment periods to 5, 7, 10,
15 or 20 years
Protection in times of uncertainty
Credit Life and Credit disability are available to continue your payments in

Benefits are paid in cash directly to you as the plan holder, making you fee to
choose when and what to use it for
Transferability
The plan is transferable. In case something happens to the Scholar, you can
grant your Plan to another child.

Dividends*
On top of your retirement fund, you may also get dividends. You can choose to
receive this in cash, accumulate this at interest and withdraw whenever you
wish, or apply it as payment for your installments. The value of the dividends
will vary depending on the Companys performance and will be based on the
prevailing rate at the specific time you choose to get them.
Optional Riders
In line with our commitment to provide our clients with comprehensive and flexible
products and services, we bring to you the following optional riders to provide you
with insurance coverage on top of the benefits you will receive.
Group Yearly Renewable Term (GYRT)
Provides the planholder insurance coverage to be paid in case of death.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)
Provides benefits to the planholder in case of death or dismemberment due to
an accident. The AD&D rider may only be purchased together with the GYRT
rider; it cannot be obtained alone.For information on Eligibility, Amount of
Coverage and Duration of coverage for GYRT and AD&D, please contact us
Personal Accident Protection (PAP)
Provides the Planholder insurance coverage to be paid in case of death due to
accident. This also comes with a comprehensive Accidental Dismemberment
and Disability coverage.
Medical Reimbursement (MR)
Provides the Scholar insurance coverage to be paid in case of his death due to
accident. This also comes with a comprehensive Accidental Dismemberment
and Disability coverage for the Scholar. This is available only for Sun Life
Education planholders.
Family Accident Protection (FAP)
Provides Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance which extends
coverage to Planholders dependents such as spouse, dependent children and
dependent parents. This also includes Medical Reimbursement coverage.
