Reaction Paper for Observation and Participation

Dont be late that the thing I learned from observing, even you sleep at 2 am in the
morning it is not a good reason to use when u arrive late at school youll be observing. Being
late is not a good characteristic of a teacher. Teacher must be on time on their work because it
will affect the teacher performance and another thing is a teacher must sleep on time because
its a key for not being late.
On the day we observe I arrive late on because of such reasons. I enter the class thats
already started so I missed the first part of the class, they already having an activity when I
arrived at the room I entered late not knowing its not a good habit entering the class and
observe when u are late. So thats happen then the second class on that room start but before
that we confront the teacher who will teach on the class if we could observe the class at first the
face of the teacher giving us a disagree face but eventually he accepted us to observe in her
class. Its a math subject I observed keenly because in near future this will be my major subject
when I finish my uniting class she demonstrated a complete lesson proper plan I hope I can be
as good as her when I go teaching. I also learned during that time when observing u need to
know the time schedule of the classes in the school so you wont miss the subjects you can
observe. After that we roam around and ended on a senior high building where we stop and
start to observe in the senior high class is it more on activities than lecturing almost all teacher it
is a student based structure students do activity and teacher assist and students present their
activities to the classroom teacher but I observed that time management is lacking in that kind of
strategy but it is the best strategy so far but the time is so short for that thing to be implemented
but I heard that what they do is on the first meeting they introduce the lesson and give the
activity and on the next meeting the students present their activity and after that the teacher
gives the evaluation and give assignment. During observation I saw some familiar faces my
teacher during college days and former colleagues in my current work I am happy that I saw
them having their dream and already teaching. Even we are just a students the teachers we
observe give us a good teaching how to teach and didnt think that we are just students and
they care for us and give us proper lesson objective and proper teaching performance
Even in a 6 hours observation I learn a lot especially a characteristics that a teacher
must possess, teacher that is punctual because it greatly affects the performance of a teacher
and the students when the teacher come at room early it uses it time correct but when a teacher
come late and also consume other subject time it greatly affects the learning process of the
students so dont be late. And lastly what I observe is teacher must love their work and that will
help the students love to learn.
