Favorite Courses in High School

Physics: as it relates to space and time.
Economics: learning about everyday activities that occur in the economy, in every country is
interesting. It is a factor that is universally examined to determine how well countries are doing in
relation to one another. It can also occur on a smaller scale with microeconomics and businesses
around us.

Biology: as it is all terms, and hardly any numbers related in the way it works.

Favorite Extracurricular
To me, the most important extracurricular I participate in would be cosplaying. Cosplaying
is costume play, and is most common at events such as Comic Con or other large scale Conventions.
Cosplay is a creative way for me to express myself. I very much enjoy being able to recreate
something I see online, to t my personality. Each cosplay is unique to the individual constructing
the costume. There is always individuality in the costume. The character one picks to dress as is
always an inner judgement within the creator. The steps I take to create a costume is a unique way in
comparison to other cosplayers. There will always be personal preference, but the individuality
different methods create is what really shows in the nal costume.
Cosplaying is self rewarding. Walking around a convention, knowing that the clothing that is
on my body was created with my own hands is impressive. As people compliment your costume,
knowing that you did your very best shines outward. Attendees can admire your hard work and
dedication, which boosts my self con dence. Often times, cosplay can be dif cult. It requires a lot of
patience, as many things can go wrong. You must also be dedicated to continue to make a costume,
often times I will feel discouraged, and will revisit the costume in the future. I am never unhappy
with my creations, regardless of the hardship involved.
Cosplay can also be a service. Often times, cosplayers go to the local hospitals to cheer up
the patients. There are many events which gives cosplayers the opportunity to impact someone else.
Seeing the smile on people's faces as they see their favorite character walk by is even more
rewarding. Other people are in uenced by my cosplays, which in itself is the most rewarding part of
Cosplaying.

Adjectives that Describe Me

1) Outgoing: I am not afraid to put myself out there to achieve something I want.
2) Hardworking: I want to ef ciently and to the best of my ability get things done.
3) Dedicated: I will not give up despite the situation, as I am determined to better myself.

What Makes Me Unique

I would like to think that I am a well rounded individual. I have skills others do not obtain until later
in their life. I gained these skills by participating in unique activities. These skills are maintaining
nances, sewing, cooking, tness, and more.

Greatest In uence
I believe that I have been the greatest in uence on my developement. I am constantly pushing
myself to do better. Through my self motivation, I have been able to achieve a variety of things and
obtain my current aspirations. I am self driven and dont let obstacles stop me from what I aspire to
achieve.
Aliens are also a good in uence. I have had an interest in Aliens for quite some time. The unknown
draws my interest. During this past summer, I had the opportunity to visit NASA, there, my

5
attraction toward Aliens deepened. I hope to work at NASA long enough that I can gain clearance to
know if Aliens do exist. Space is an unknown to the world at the moment. You dont know what is
out there in the depths of the universe. I hope to befriend an extraterrestrial in hopes that we can be
friends and have a mutual bene cial relationship. We could learn a lot from them, and they may be
able to learn quite a bit from us. I desperately want to be a part of their discovery. This desire to
befriend Aliens has driven me to push myself toward Aerospace Engineering and deepening my
knowledge of the world (later, possibly the universe).

Stress
I over come with bad situations by either dealing with them directly, or going to bed. If i am well
rested I can look at a situation from a different way. I have also learned that exercising is another
good way of relieving stress.

Career choices
1) Aerospace Engineer: I would love this job, as it sounds really fun to work with both space
situations and math.
2) Computer Scientist: the opportunity to create a better world with programs and apps is
highly appealing. It is a unique way to give to the world
3) Computer Engineer: Building and coding hardware for the computer world help me invent
something that may not have been thought of before. It could make a device run more
ef ciently.
