I used Google Maps to locate some areas that I visited last
summer in Washington D.C. that I feel like I could use in future History and English lessons as a teacher. I could use this tool to give an interactive visual for my students.
Quizlet is an interactive tool that can be useful for teachers and
students. I have used this program in college as well to help memorize and organize notes and vocabulary for many of my classes. Making flashcards and tests can be effective for learning new information or reviewing. I chose to make some flashcards about subject verb agreement. This is a fun way to learn English terms, punctuation, and grammar. Quizlet would be an Augmentation/Modification on the SAMR model I feel because it involves the students making tests and quizzes and using them in a game setting. https://www.sutori.com/education I feel sutori could be useful in the classroom within cooperative learning lessons. It also can be used for group and class discussions. It provides a way for students to express themselves while other students comment and provide feedback. This could be used for papers. Students could provide constructive peer revisions in the comments.
