For decades Colegio San Agustin has maintained its culture of excellence! From intra-school to inter-school competitions,
from national to international Olympiads – both in academics and sports – our young Augustinians have impressively excelled,
either taking home the grand title or joining the roster of victors. Their triumphs have etched Colegio San Agustin's reputation as “one
of the”, if not “the best” school there is today.
Unsurprisingly, these Augustinian sons and daughters have taken after their dedicated and versatile trainors and mentors
who tirelessly work to inculcate in each eager learner the true Augustinian Values that speaks of the school's commitment to its
Mission, Vision, and Thrust.
Truly, an Augustinian student is the wholly developed person, striving to do his best at all times, in every endeavor – seizing
every opportunity; reaching for his dreams. Soar high Augustinians!

29 Volleyball by Viancci Dominic M. Vilegas
Colegio San Agustin is blessed to have a team of
energetic, competitive, and athletic girls who would never settle
for second best in a heartbeat.
Driven to be the best in their craft, our Volleyball Girls'
team has brought numerous accolades to their Alma Mater in this
field of sport. Be it in local school competitions or regional events,
to the celebrated NCR Palarong Pambansa, our “Volley Belles”
are sure to deliver their best strike and spike top honors.
Over the years, the members that comprise our “Victory
Belles” change as senior members move on from Grade School to
High School. Still, the same focus and discipline permeates
within and among the team which becomes the sustaining spirit
for their drive to excellence. Well, that and the fact that they are
also staking their Alma Mater's reputation every time they
compete all the more makes each contest worthy of their
commitment.
Trained, guided, and coached by the best there is – CSA's
Mr. Rey Amonelo - the team is bound to add more trophies to
CSA's accolade walls. Soar higher, girls! CSA is proud of you!
Triumphant Sports
Basketball 30
The CSA grade
school basketball varsity
team is once again, the
champion of the junior
basketball division in
NCR. Our young athletes
dominated several
schools like the Ateneo
Blue Eagles and La Salle's
Green Archers, dribbling
their way to success.
For many years,
our team has always been
champions in the junior
basketball division.
“Championships
like these don't just come
easy. Our players trained
hard and aspired for this
championship trophy”
quipped Mr. Rey Ramilo,
the team’s winning coach.

Speedstacks has invaded CSA! This is
an observation one can gather from seeing
how many an Augustinian would eagerly
bring their speed-stacking paraphernalia
to school and engage themselves in the
game during their free time. As it looks, the
game has completely taken over our young
Augustinians – but wait – could it be the
other way around? Perhaps it could!
Colegio San Agustin, Makati
participated in the 1st National Sport
Stacking Tournament held at the UP Gym,
Diliman, Quezon City and emerged as
CHAMPIONS!
For this speed stacking sport, CSA
had two teams competing and vying for the
top prize. Both teams ranked and scored
impressively in both rounds, thus securing
the win.
To top it all up, some of the members
of the teams were able to win the individual
contests in their age categories. Kudos to
our dynamic P.E. teacher, Mr. Victor
Samonte, who coached both teams.

NCR Palarong Pambansa The Colegio San Agustin varsity teams has
trained hard over the months. All their hard work has
finally paid off, as they compete against the other
teams around the country in the National Capital
Region competition.
The NCR is a prestigious competition of
different sports ranging from soccer and basketball
to swimming and volleyball. Although getting there
wasn't as easy as it sounds. The journey to success
was definitely difficult. There are times when they
just want to give up. But because of their hard work
and determination they pulled through each time and
became even stronger. They had trained so hard for
countless competitions, and after a rough and
rigorous training, they were able to get through.
Hard work, determination and teamwork are
the keys to the team's success. All we wait for is for
them to commence Victory and make CSA Proud. As
they compete, carrying the name of our proud school
- Colegio San Agustin.
