INTRODUCTION
As Woody Allen says, 80% of success is showing up. In many institutions
and organizations, attendance is very important factor for various purposes. It is
one of the important criteria to evaluate a student and employees. Every day is

a great day to learn something new, once an individual missed a day on his
study or work he/she may miss something important and it may affect it on
his/her career.
An old-fashioned way of monitoring attendance used a way of using of a
notebook and a pen. The previous approach in which manually taking and
maintains the attendance records was very inconvenient task.
After having these issues in mind, the researchers proposed an
attendance system which automates the whole process of taking attendance
and maintaining it. Researchers already know about some commonly used
biometric techniques are used for objective identification, verification are like
iris recognition, voice identification, fingerprint identification, DNA recognition,
etc. Biometrics techniques are widely used in various areas like building
security, etc. Many access control systems adopt biometric features to replace
digit-based password. Biometric was also integrated to the attendance system
which makes it easier to monitor because of its automation. Most organization
having an automated attendance system uses fingerprint scanners or bar code
scanners for authentication.
The term fingerprint is refers impressions transferred from the pad last
joint of fingers and thumbs, though fingerprint cards also typically record
portions of lower joint areas of the fingers (which are also used to make
identifications). A fingerprint is an impression of the friction ridges on all parts of
the finger. It is believed that no two people have identical fingerprint in world, so
the fingerprint verification and identification is most popular way to verify the
authenticity or identity of a person wherever the security is a problematic
question. The reason for popularity of fingerprint technique is uniqueness of
person arises from his behavior; personal characteristics are like, for instance
uniqueness, which indicates that each and every fingerprint is unique, different
from one other. Universality, that means every person hold the individual
characteristics of fingerprint.

Researchers made a system that monitors the attendance of every employee.
Researchers ensure that every employee of the proponents has an assurance
that they have an exact time attendance using the proposed system. The
proponents of the study may use the proposed system in good terms of the
company. Researchers make sure that an employee cannot cheat on their
attendance because of the reason that the attendance system is used with the
fingerprint scanner.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
1. How will the propose system monitor the daily time attendance of the
employees online?

2. How will the propose system view individual information of employees

online?
3. How will the propose system reduce the manual errors?
4. How will the propose system make sure that the exact-time of the
attendance is accurate?

5. How will the propose system reads old records of attendance of the
employees?

Objective of the Study

General Objective
The general objective of the study is to design and develop an Online
Scheduling System for Dental Corner.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. To monitor the daily time attendance of the employees
2. To see employees information through the use of fingerprint scanner and
security passcode.
3. To reduce the risk of manual errors that are common in a manual process
like having a typographical error.
4. To ensure the exact time attendance of the employees.

5. To easily look for the past attendance of the employees
SCOPE AND DELIMITATIONS
The system is composed of useful things to easily manage the date and time
attendance of the employees. Very comfortable and easy to use systems that
make the users use it quickly without having problems or any complications.
