What are native species?

-An organism which is indigenous (a very long time) to a given region or ecosystem.

What is an introduced species?

-Known as an exotic
-An organism that is not indigenous to a given location but instead, has been accidentally or
deliberately introduced to a new location by humans or by natural means.

How do they get to this places where they arent supposed to be?

-Ballast Water (an area in a boat that make it heavier)

-Canals (manmade waterways)
-Recreational Boasters/Ship
-Accidentally Imported in boxes, on plants, etc.
-Pet Release
-Aquaculture (to put in a pond and eat)
-Intentional Introductions-
