hook-up with valve, matching flange, fittings and valve pit from tapping point
connected with the main drinking water network as per scope limit drawing
enclosed with this bid package. Any boosting pump required to enhance the
drinking water pressure is in EPC contractors scope.

Individual buildings shall be provided with HDPE water storage tank (minimum
1000 litres) on roof of the building as per IS:12701.

Safety shower & eye wash at caustic, chemical handling areas etc.

Plumbing, drainage and sanitary sewer system for the control room & sub- station
and plumbing, drainage and sanitary sewer system for toilet facility near truck
loading area up to main sanitary network (including sanitary pump station) as per
scope drawing enclosed with this bid package.

Supplying and laying of HDPE pipes for neutralization pits for battery waste
discharge from battery room sink.

RR masonary Storm water drain (uncontaminated) to be provided around the coke


storage yard & buildings and shall be connected to main storm water drain (refer
scope drawing). Storm water drains within scope limit & connecting the same up to
main storm drains & storm water box culverts below the approach road for crossing
of storm water drains.

RCC Drain (contaminated with coke) shall be provided with in coke storage yard
dome which will discharge into a pit (pit sizing shall be done considering the flow
from water content of coke (20 m3/hr) and flow from dust suppression system).
Pump will be provided to recover the contaminated water from the pit and
discharges contaminated water into settlement pond. Covered drains
(contaminated with coke) shall be provided under truck loading silo and rail loading
silos, which shall terminate into a settlement pond. All contaminated covered drains
from coke storage yard, truck loading silo and rail loading silo upto settlement pond
is in Contractors scope.

Pumps (minimum one working + one stand by) shall be provided in the settlement
pond to pump the clear water from Clear water compartment to the coke pit near
DCU unit (refer scope drawing). All items required to pump clear water from
settlement pond to the destination including pumps, piping, fittings, valves,
accessories etc. is under the scope of Contractor. Pump sizing shall be done
considering the incoming flow to settlement pond i.e. , moisture/ water content of
coke (20 m3/hr) and sprinkler flow of dust suppression system within coke storage
yard, truck loading and rail loading silos. Pump head shall be adequately designed
to meet the requirement. Pumps shall be suitable for handling fine particles of
coke.

All tie-in co-ordinates shown in scope drawing are tentative. Tie-in co-ordinates will
be finalized during detail engineering.

Construction of roads, drains, culverts, pavement, hard stand, ERC, IRC, valve
pits, Neutralization pit, manholes, Inspection chamber, gully trap, trenches,
concrete sleepers etc.
