Description
This course examines Mans search for meaning within the totality of his Phenomenological experiences. Looking at various
Course theories of different philosophers regarding man, the course will attempt to provide an introduction to philosophy, the science of
the ultimate whys and wherefores of all things, with man as the key point, the starting, the central and the predominant theme of
discussion.

Requirement:
Major Examinations
Recitation
Any form of cheating will Not be allowed. Students who are caught in the act CHEATING will receive a
grade of 5.
There will be Recitation in every class meeting to determine the knowledge of the student to a subject
matter.
Assignments/ Quizzes
There will be announced and unannounced quizzes from time to time.
Reporting
There will be reporting of various topics in order to motivate students in class participation and also test
their creativity and resourcefulness.
Attendance
Regular attendance and punctuality are expected. Attendance will be checked each session.
Excessive absences and work not made up shall adversely affect the grade for the course.
GRADING SYSTEM:
Final Grade = (Average of 4 Major Exams * 70%) + (Class Standing * 30%)
