    Major Clinical Year (MCY)
    o 2 weeks of vacation during MCY - timing dependent on rotation schedule
    Board Prep
    o *Step 1 deadline is Feb 28th (Step 2 CK deadline is Nov 30th and Step 2 CS deadline is Feb 23rd)
    Differentiation & Integration (D&I)
    o SCHOLARLY PROJECTS: Scholarly Projects work can occur during any 4 months of the Scholarly Projects
    timeframe (must begin no later than December and be completed by end of March). Scholarly Project work
    does not need to occur during consecutive months

    o ELECTIVES (including Back-to-the-Classroom):

    Back-to-the-Classroom: All students must complete 1 month of back-to-the-classroom (BTC) classes
    which includes Foundations of Clinical Medicine (FCM); Integration and Biomedical Informatics plus one of
    Option A, B, or C, (which determines the month that the classroom work will be completed): Option A:

    Advanced Clinical Pathology; Option B: Advanced Pathophysiology; Option C: Clinical Pharmacology


    All students must complete 1 (1-month) Sub-internship elective during a month of their choosing within

    the D&I timeframe

    All students must complete a minimum of 6 additional (1-month) electives during the months of their
    choosing within the D&I timeframe.
